Has anyone has this problem? I just got a new computer last year and just now reinstalled NWN to get back into the game. I started to use the Vista and if I click just once on the down area it seems to speed to the very bottom. It seems too fast and while the basic toolset works fine if I try to build areas / add objects its very difficult because I cant control the toolset... ie if I click to rotate slightly it spins around to end...
Can NWN not handle the faster computers?
Specs:
Windows Vista SP2
HP
RAM 8 GB / 64 bit system
AMD II x4 910 processor 2.6 Ghz
Anyone else has this problem?

Well I have a 3.2 GHz Intel i5-750 Quad Core with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM with a Solid State Drive, and a pretty fast GT-210 graphics card and I don't have this problem... I don't think it's the system, maybe the video card possibly, but not the computer's performance..
Graphics Cards can speed up NWN quite a bit, from what I've experienced personally, but that speed can also produce bottle-necking in game play too, where animations will not work at all, though you see the damage flying from your swings, but your not seeing the swinging....
As far as the tool set goes, I'm thinking yeah, better graphics card = better performance when working with 3 models..

This doesn't sound like an issue of your computer being "too good.' It sounds like a bug. I suggest trying the Tech Support forum. (I'd offer a better suggestion if I had one, but I'm stumped as to why the toolset is doing that. I've never had that kind of problem on any computer).

I occasionally have the same problem with my toolset, using XP. However I find that by using the ctrl + left click to move and ctrl + right click to rotate the view method is much more manageable, even when using the buttons is an issue. That said my problem only happens some of the times I use the toolset so the same solution may not apply for you.

Check for settings in your INI files. There _may_ be something in there to help.
