[Hodler]

Hey everyone! This is my first post and I first of all wanted to say how awesome I think Bioware is; I want to have it's children. Realistic I'd settle for working for them . Anyway two things.

1) I just wanted to introduce myself since I'm probably going to frequent the forums here. So yea, my name' Eric Hodler, I'm 19, starting college in the next week for graphic design and I'm thinking about checking out some Game design/character design.

2) I'm on my third play through of DragonAge and I made a Mage (I tend to avoid mages for some reason) and I wanted to know if this was a good build.

24 Willpower (was going to leave at 20 but I forgot about Mage Tower increases but its fine)
Maxing Magic ATM
And 30 Constitution (Blood Mage)

Like I said I'm going into Blood mage Skills so All four of those. (Have Leliana set as ranger to leech pet.)

Spirit row to get Crushing Prison and Spell Might. (so 7 points there)

4 in Ice
3 in Lightning (for SoC AoE)
And one Healing Spell

And the Gear I have gives me +18 constitution and a few more magic.


What do ya think?

To be honest, I never went the Blood Mage route, so I can't speak too much on builds for that. With my mage builds I tend to go all out in Magic and Willpower, with just a little bit given to cunning.



The Ice line of spells is an excellent choice due to freezing your opponents, and you'll get some good damage from the lightning, although for me personally, I have fire and ice maxed, and Morr has lightning maxed out. That way I get some good damage from being able to throw out three storms (fire, ice, lightning).



Hopefully someone a little more knowledgeable on the BM fron can come and comment here.
