This is what the paragon version looks like:
Will you(BioWare) patch this or should we ignore this bug?

I wish Bioware/EA would at least acknowledge this issue. We didn't pay for a license to an incomplete experience.

Yeah, Conrad said I saved the galaxy by being a big jerk ... except that wasn't my renegade playthrough. Seems like a reasonable request to get it fixed.

The silence is unfortunate. Though not unexpected.

The bug is well known and the issue has been gone over a million times. Bioware are extreamly busy people they don't have time to address everyone on the forum and whatever glitch they found in the game. If they have not bothered with a fix already you can bet their won't be one. So forget it and move on. It's hardly like it messed with an important part of the game. Your game is not broken by the glitch.

I wonder, can the save file be edited to have only the paragon flag, to test if it possible to even see that scene going on? or is that simply unused audio?
The reason I ask is because,
The reason I ask is because,
- you would have to fix a problem in ME if the bug is only in the save file for ME2
- or you would have to fix a problem in ME2 if the scene with the paragon dialogue is not there.
- [speculation here] maybe it was intentional and unfinished, for a gameplay reason, so that you can get the discount, (but if you leave the assignment incomplete than you get no discount, at least in my experience).
