Scions turn this Insanity into a not-fun piece of crap.  Their shockwave kills you in three hits and is nearly impossible to avoid depending on the situation (it doesn't help that there are usually two of them at a time, and the hitbox is much larger than what appears on screen).  They have so much armor that using an Infiltrator against them is just asking for a death wish.  If you get to close, they will do a tech-armor like burst that stuns you long enough for them to get off another shock wave, thus making Vanguards basically useless if you don't know exactly what you're doing and what's going on every second of the battle.  The only class I feel that can effectively take these on are the Engineers, and they are the worst class overall anyway!

When there are more than one you can always use the M-920 Cain. It takes me ages to take the armor down, and even with Sentinel shield I still get raped at times D:

Works against everything except YMIRs, Geth Primes and ... dogs it still drains their protection and will ragdoll everything with only their health remaining.

Remember Scions won't use shockwave if they can't see you.

Scions are a joke. You can easily interrupt their close range attack so they pose no threat at all. If you are a Vanguard you can even USE their close range attack to your advantage - if you Charge at the right time, no cooldown will be used and you have all your powers available.

Scions are ****in cake, seriously. You know what I do when I see a scion? Laugh at their horribly deformed bodies as I kill them, with any class, ever.



infiltrator cloak widow

vanguard mattock/viper hell, if it's just one charge too why not

engineer drone laugh hysterically

adept singularity laugh hysterically

soldier adrenaline rush laugh hysterically

sentinel tech armor laugh hysterically (although really, they can pretty much laugh hysterically at anything with tech armor up)

With these+geth shield boost DMG+fully upgraded sniper upgrades+that helmet that gives +10% headshot dmg+Miranda dmg boost=Very dead scion

Even on hardest difficulty never takes me more than 2 shots before their down

Infiltrators are probably the best equipped to handle armor.  Add a bonus power to the mix and it's no contest.

Scions are annoying, but not really trouble, with a Vanguard they are fun, with an Adept they are easy, with soldier they are easy, it has been awhile since I played a Infiltrator but last time they were a piece of cake, never played Engineer long enough to get to them, and Sentinels breeze anyway.

I don't understand these sorts of rants when the person admits to playing Insanity difficulty. Was Insanity supposed to be easy?

Tactics are the key with Scions. Depending on the class, the tactics are going to be different. Even then, I've had my own difficulties with Scions, but... it's Insanity.

 Scions use to be annoying but now they are my favorite enemy to kill

Scions are too easy now Bioware should make them harder to kill in an update or ME3
Some one pointed out the ways to kill them but my favorites are
Vanguard charge + Claymore     Singularity spam+ Flamethrower  Adrenaline Rush+ Claymore/Widow/Revenant:lol:

Cover only works when it's 'high' cover - hiding behind 'low' cover isn't going to protect you.

Scions are easy for an Infiltrator. In fact, Bioware need to make them move 3 times faster, have a 1 hit kill melee attack and shoot lasers beams from their eyes for them to even remotely pose a challenge.
