To the OP...
Sincere question: What is giving you trouble against Scions as an Infiltrator? Of all classes, I found Infiltrator easiest against them. Incinerate damages armor directly, recharges quickly, arcs around objects, and helps take out the charging husks that also frequently accompany Scions.
Helpful suggestion: Don't forget that you can still get headshot damage against them as well, which is best to do with the sniper rifle. Their head is a bit harder to find, but you can take out a Scion with around 3 headshots from cover, depending on your rifle model and upgrades, and shockwaves should not hit you in cover.
(Apologies for my elcor-style question, but it's so easy to come across as a snarky jerk when you don't mean to on the internet.)

I've cleared ME2 4 times on insanity (adept, sentinel, vangaurd, infiltrator), and I'll echo what most everyone else has been saying: alone, a scion is more of a pace-slowing nuisance than a challenge, multiples and additional enemies make them a challenge. Challenge is good; I assume that's why the OP set the dial to Insanity. Don't get mad, try a different approach until you find something effective.
To echo the above: figure out scions, don't ask for a nerf because you don't know what to do. This isn't World of Warcraft.

Scions aren't a big deal, but seeing their super shockwave knock my shield out in one hit irks the hell out of me.

Infiltrator is probably one of the top classes to kill scions.
You can specify where you are stuck with them and the good people here in the community can help you figure it out.
There are guides for every class here as well, I am sure if the OP actually tried to solve the problem he would have found thousands of ways to kill it....instead he comes here and **** about it...
