Juhani was exclusively gay. Her romance was small, but it was still there - and with the patch, only female PCs could "romance" her. Unless you mean exclusively gay male romance, which is less likely (but still possible - afterall - trends change. Homosexuality will become more and more tolerated in the western world). Of course, this is talking about Bioware games. Other companies have done exclusively gay romances in their games. They are far and few between, but they are there.Clay Curragh wrote...

personaly i dont mind homosexual romance options as long as there are still straight romance options. Otherwise i dont think i would bother with the romance option at all maybe even the game.
Well, then you don’t have anything to fear,
'cause I don’t think we’ll see a game exclusively with gay-romances, like, ever.
And that’s actually a good thing, because the majority of people aren’t gay,
and I wouldn’t want them to feel excluded.
I meant a game without any straight romances would never happen, to clarify that.
I’m actually quite sure that there'll be S/S content in DA2, be it the "bi" kind or not.
What matters is that it is included, and I can play my GayHawke
And as long as they don’t start with some "Hawke" is a predefined character BS as they did whit M!Shep I have no doubts there. It was in Origins and it would be silly to not include it again.
But one never knows for sure what goes on in the heads of these devs and writers,
since PosterHawke was pretty busy kissing some pirate girl in the trailer,
even if the trailer wasn't directly made by Bioware.
But I'm probably (hopefully?) reading to much into that...

Edit: Fight like a Spartan, no? Ancient Greece, no? So all the nominatives should equal, yes?

How truth left us in the face of sexuality. Think back history. Ancient Greece, Rome, Japan, and so forth. America is too religious for me. As I always say, to each his own. Though, I prefer the gender opposite my own sex, a gentleman with scruples, tall, dark, sexy intelligent and supportive, etc., etc., etc.
America is not as religious as you think.

Also I think is there is a male on amle romance it should be one without a sex scene.
More focused on the person.
And make it easy to turn down the romance without getting hit on.

Straight male romance: Nerdy Tevinter mage, who came to the Free Marches researching Flemeth in her human form. Fearless in the pursuit of magical knowledge despite (or because of) his sheltered academic training, but has trouble taking anything outside his research seriously and can seem flippant and amoral.
Bisexual male romance: Taciturn Nevarran dragon-hunter (new warrior spec), who came to the Free Marches pursuing Flemeth in her dragon form. Single-minded and seemingly cold-hearted, uncomfortable dealing with people in any context other than combat, but with untapped depths of passion....

Like Varric.
In the case that he's not romance-able or only the narrator, I think someone of any race who's funny or sarcastic, but also somewhat quiet, awkward, and caring would be nice.
Ultimately, I want something different. I guess what I described was somewhat like Alistair, but I think the issue with him was that people thought he was too whiny.

Oooh, I like. Might even convince me to play a male Hawke more than once. Both seem like they could become very deep and involved romances.
BioWare, this poster speaketh wisdom. (Also, I love your avatar. Very unique.

Well, Varric does need to have some reason as to why he knows of Hawke's escapades...

I third it as long as he is pounding Hawke instead of Hawke pounding him.
