The pessimist in me also thinks that since ME had a definite character and now DA2 has aswell, they will go with no homosexual romances again. BECAUSE it is pre-written and constant, like they said, nevermind that there are a few of lesbian options flying around in ME.

But the devs have said Hawke is a much less defined character than Shepard.

Nah, not serious. Just find Bethany to be really hot... she isn't MY sister, after all. Though if it's forbidden I'll edit the post.

I am a big fan of the forbidden relationships. Mage/Templar, Human/Qunari, so anything along those lines should prove to be fun. I also prefer darker relationships: remarriage, buddy has a kid (his or adopted), serious emotional struggles and the like. Also I would like the romance NPC to approach you about it, instead of the other way around - I want to be desired, what can I say?



Fussy, Middle aged scholarly man with a handsome face and a bashfully cute and awkward attitude/desire towards Hawke. You are good with his kid/younger brother, and you melt his bitter little heart.



Established and feared General who desires first your mind, then your body.



Healing companion who flips out when you get hurt.



Strictly homosexual ones, instead of bisexuals.



On a side note, many in the gay community, if you can call it that, really wanted to romance Alistair, I would thus like to see a similar situation set up.

I'd love seeing an LI who doesn't realize his interest in men until joining up with Hawke. Someone who approaches a relationship a little more cautiously and less casually than Zevran did. As for initiating the relationship, I'd like for it to go both ways. One path where Hawke starts it, and another path where Hawke somehow makes known that he's gay/bi, then gets approached by the LI.



(Basically, what I like to think an M/M romance with Alistair could've been like.)

Anyways about the male on male romance.
I think it should be handled mostly the same as the other romances in a way that does not make it like ME2.
