[MSU-Spartan]

I hope I'm not being a noob, but I've tried to mine planets in Mass Effect 2, but when I do, and
discover minerals, and launch a number of probes, I cannot discover a way to actually initiate a
mining operation.
There is no button or key that lets me land, or any kind of an on-screen button to start mining.

The manual is no help, and a google search turns up nothing.

Launching a probe equals mining.

After looking more closely, I discovered that is what is happening.
