Just noticed that her and benezia are the only asari (that I have found) with eyebrows. Is there an explenation?

Were the insults really necessary?  While it's true I haven't seen another Asari with eyebrows, it doesn't seem to be just for the romance thing or else why would Benezia have them?  I think my supposition, that it's a rare Asari phenotype, is as good an explaination as any.

If the rest of you don't want to hear it, then why open the conversation?

I'd like to hear a plausible theory on why they'd have tattoed human eye brows on their face, esp considering how liara herself had like zero experience dealing with humans.

Errrr, what? I pointed out in what I felt was a rather light-hearted manner that you skipped over reading the OP, as it's a single line long and mentions Benezia. We call it a "ribbing" around here.

"Rare asari phenotpye" is certainly viable, but slightly more in-depth than "her mom has them to", to which the response is sort of "We noticed, but why?".

Because Benezia's father was actually human. Her asari mother discovered Earth centuries ago and bonded with a human male, but after her bondmate died, she left Earth with Benezia, who inherited her father's eyebrows and passed them on to Liara. <_<

Honestly I think Bioware added them to make her face more expressive.  As human beings we instinctually understand human facial expressions on a subconscious level.  The way we move our eyebrows are one of the more important clues we use to deduce what other people are feeling.  Hence without eyebrows a degree of expressiveness is lost.

Consequently you'll notice that many Asari have some maner of eyebrow like features which replicate the expressions of human eyebrows.  Though Liara and Benezia are the only Asari we've met with such apparently eyebrow like features; but there are numerous other examples of eyebrow like features appearing on Asari.

For example...

Many Asari have patterns around their eyes which include eyebrow like markings...




Aria has some eyebrow like tattoos over her eyes.


And Samara has jewelry which mimics the expressiveness of eyebrows

Love interests. Asari are also basically blue human females with tentacle heads.

Thats not so hard actually.. eyebrows are there to protect your eyes from, say, sweat running down your forehead, and stuff like that. Plus, as mentioned before, for communicational purposes.

So that's why i find Samara kind of creepy, with more vicius and animal like feel to her - she has no eyebrows, only the jewelry which doesn't move.
