Why have the Qunari been demonized?

Do you believe DA's fanbase is too simplistic to accept an enemy who's evil is a bit ambigious, and thus needs to fight an enemy who, like the darkspawn, is evil through and through? Do you believe we the fans are ourselves so simplistic that we need this clear and cookie-cutter evil to be representated graphically by the addition of giant horns?
This whole thing is a bit insulting, specially to someone who absolutely loved the Sten character and was dying to learn more about the Qunari.
I are very disappoint.

Last I checked, horns didn't make you evil.
Sten also doesn't have horns, not all Qunari do.

The qunaris intentions are well known enough.
They are not evil.
The chantry like to portray them as such.
Sten is a special kind of qunari.

Well of course, cows aren't evil. Also, not all dragons are evil.
Peter Molyneux wouldn't agree with you, though.

He also believes eating pie and meats makes you corrupt while eating tofu makes you pure. I wouldn't place much faith in that man.

I am confident that Bioware understands its players.
I doubt every qunari has horns.
Also having horns is normal for qunari.
Sten was special.

I beg to differ, sir!
Anyway, I don't the the horns were added to make the Qunari look evil, I think they were added to make the Qunari look more imposing.

And to not look like tall humans.

Hard to get more generic then elves, dwarves and humans in fantasy games.Randy1083 wrote...
The qunari weren't 'generic fantasy' enough in DAO.

If anything, the Quinari are already somewhat evil. I mean they are always at war, which doesn't ring "good people" to me at least. Even Sten says that they will attack Ferelden, and they don't seem to have any ties with Ferelden, so that is definitely out of the blue.

Says you, I would be scared to face them in fights, and then that whole Bloody Antivan crow mission in which you have to kill several of them.
They were Bald.

Might I also add that Zevran comments that there are qunari he finds attractive and has been with back in Antiva... I'm just wondering how the horns factor into it all XP
It's exotic, probably adding to the whole attractive thing.
