I've never really used the spell, but I experimented recently and the description boggled my mind.
From what I've always understood, a round is 6 seconds and a turn is simply a minute, or ten rounds.
Not only does it claim that it takes an entire minute to cast the initial spell, it also claims that only one bolt can be brought down every minute/turn.
When I used it, it only took a round to cast and the rate at which they came down was certainly faster than one per minute. Is this all just incorrect information that could be fixed by tweakpacks and such?
Is the Call Lightning description incorrect?

I think the cast time is probably a round, and then you get one bolt per round thereafter. Just guessing. I did notice that about the description as well though. Awesome spell too!

Maybe they got confused when converting the description from the P&P equivalent. We all know that they sped up combat for BG2.

True enough. I'm willing to hazard a guess that it's not the only spell with such errors in translation.
