I'm a little new to this game so I'm following the tooltips and learning as I go. I'm literally at the beginning and doing the starter quests of the harvest cup. Anyway my main character just walks everywhere, where as the rest of my party runs. Any idea how to correct that?

You must be carrying enough equipment to start your very own Outfitters store.
Leave the kitchen sink at home and you'll move faster.
Or you could have your PC in either Stealth or Search mode (or both).

Sometimes, when using the Walk (**** key) and suddenly enter a conversation or combat, your character may get stuck in walk mode. To release it, hit the shift key twice.
Other causes may be curses, or overloaded with weight.
