Ha! I didn't know who he was, I had to look him up. I saw a clip of him in Youtube, wow can't believe it is Alistair's voice. Seperating the two had me stunned . . .
So yes I am a little hurt

So having not gone after either Morrigan or Alistair on my first playthrough it seems like I managed to miss the whole gamut of possible sad\\terribleness most of what everyone else went through. Unfortunately these forums permanently destroyed my tabula rasa =\\
I made Alistair leave and he ends up a drunken old man

It's definitely not you and because of that I don't bother with the romantic storylines although the pesky completist in me will probably make me pursue one in one of my play-throughs just so I can have that achievement.daelyn75 wrote...
Is it me or are the men extremely timid in Bioware games? I admit it would be nice to be fought for once in a while lol!

Yuck, it's an RPG, not the newest Twilight novel, and Alistair is a templar, not a mind-reader.

He's a timid Templar, and sorry I seem to have missed the teeny bopper Twiilight phase by over a decade. Women read romance novels for well romantic fantasy, playing a game shouldn't exclude you from it either. In fact because it's so immersive I would say it should be all that and more.

it would almost be worse if you found out there was a 'perfect' ending, but you picked the wrong dialogue choices/origin story/etc so you missed it. =/daelyn75 wrote...
It was more bitter than sweet IMO, but at least I was hailed as the hero at the end.
Ok as to David Gaider . . . ENOUGH BITTERSWEET ROMANCES! Let the girl get the guy in the end and vice versa, too much broken love and dreams I think, makes me sad and miserable.
wait, that's almost what happened...
Make a human noble, then you can be queen. That's what I did. I was an Elf mage, and then he said I couldn't be his queen cause of it, so I let Anora rule. Decided to play through again so I could have my happy fairytale ending.
