They're great multitaskers.![]()
Please, ProudNegro, comments like these incite offense, and try to avoid making them. Girls don't like to hear "Wait, you play video games, why aren't you in the kitchen?", so don't make similar stereotypes about anyone else, if you please.

Cool gay guy in history, Emperor Hadrian of the Romans. Responsible for building Hadrians wall. Greeks are a bad example, as jeezy said their society was pretty disgusting.
And lets not forget during the time of the romans, many married (as marriage as a contract between families for alliances, property and wealth) yet the majority of them took on lovers, and it was not uncommon for a man's lover to be another man (otherwise there would be a risk of a female lover getting his child and having a claim to things as well, though this is just a guess.)
No, Romans didn't look highly on homosexuality in general. Cities like Pompeii had a number of homos, but that city basically worshipped the dick. It was wierd look it up. lol
Your choice of words Burrito shows how little you understand History.
umm, no. I'm right but they did have homosexuals. All socities do.

For someone who's username is 'ProudNegro' you seem have a surprising lack of empathy towards minorities.

Even if its not in there I'd at least like some opportunity to tell female love interests that my Hawke is gay, which I desperately felt the need for in ME2. Or in Kelly Chambers case: "Please, stop molesting me. I WILL fire you for sexual harrassment. "

Except for the part where there was a gay romance in DA:O, and people brought it anyway.

Wow your ignorance knows no bounds. I'm black as well and am offended by your bigotry. This is just as bad as saying something like:
"Black people play videogames? I thought black people were busy eating chicken and watermelon with a bunch their cousins and "shiznits."
As a person with a Black father and a white mother, I have learned not to hate other minorities. Apparently you don't understand the suffering of being Black. The point of suffering was to BECOME BETTER AND LEARN FROM OTHERS' BIGOTRY. Not reproduce it.
It's hard to believe we're moving forward when other bigots like you are holding us back...

I didn't know when I bought it, most my friends didn't. I'm still getting Da2 if there is homosexuality, not something I agree with, but not going to stop me from playing. Like Gaider said romances are optional.

Let me rephrase. Anyone, whose a part of a minority (which is everyone) should understand.
To the OP: My apologies for over throwing the conversation. I'll end it here.

I think sexuality is handled differently in thedas then irl, that's why I think you don't see many full gay characters.
In all of Thedas or just Ferelden?
The reason I ask is that there arn't many gay people in Ferelden but there seems to be loads in Amaranthine.
Alot of the people we meet from Amaranthine seem to be open and less prudish than the rest of Ferelden.

Maybe they should have possible romances spring among the team members themselves. If the two of them are attractive, maybe your character will the option to go to his or her tent and... "think about things" for a while.
I think a lot of depth could be added with having two companions become involved. Didn't something like that happen in Baldurs Gate 1/2?

Yes, and everyone hated it.
And I'd hate it if they added it. Good God, I'd hate it. Maybe I shouldn't start my ranting on how much I hate that idea, but...it's there.
For all of you to know, it's there.

I agree the most with team members dating! I never felt truly immersed in the romancing in bioware games (could care less really) because team members seem to just wait around for PC to come around, nothing at all like real life.

I didn't hate it! I liked Aerie as a companion, but I loathed her in the player romance -- I nearly chucked the little cow out of the party after the catfight with Jaheira -- but then I liked her again in the interactions with Haer'Dalis, so I consider that her "canon" storyline.
