sorry, as a raging heterosexual I like girl on girl action.

Don't we all?

It's actually a stereotype.
I know a lot of menfolk who couldn't be any more indifferent towards it.
But this is off-topic. Don't you dare build a discussion out of how REAL or MANLY these men could be.

I honestly wouldn't mind a male mage romance. Bisexual or otherwise. Both warrior and mage type have their pros and cons, it is very difficult to choose which I would prefer. Both of them would be new after the rather much discussed "rogue flood".

I'd prefer  a mage. Seeing as rpgs are stereotype heaven when it comes to the sexes and different classes, that's the only way I'd ever get a pensive/reserved thinker. That or a nuisance like Anders (another popular personality for a mage to have).

fyi If it's Anders he'll be fed to the harvesters. Just picked up Awakening and can't say I care for him.

Anders will grow on you if you're nice to him.

Perhaps they won't go for the cocky and jesting archetype after both Alistair and Anders.

So no feeding him to darkspawn?

Also, his cat raises the dead, so he's useful to have around even if you don't like him that much.

Yes please. No more Xanders. Let's try something completely different this time.

I'd actually rather like someone like Nathaniel. Don't really care what class.

I liked how he made it obvious when he liked someone, rather then the other way around.

First scene ever when we see him, with the mage in Ostagar, showed that side of him.
He isn't that way much with the Warden, but when he communicates with other NPCs in conversations and stuff, he generally responds rather ****ily in my opinion.

Is ****ily a word? It got censored? Help! :crying:

It's unfortunate Justice is a spirit.  His strong moral conviction is a lot more desirable than Nathaniel's self pity/whining at his families rapid fall.  :D

You know, I really need to play Awakening so I can see what all the fuss about Nathaniel is about.

Yeah, just the first word got censored. In any case, I wouldn't call that cocky or arrogant, I'd call it antagonistic. cocky implies you're full of yourself, and self-esteem is what Alistair does not have. No clue if Anders was cocky--I know he was a lot like Alistair, but...

Justice got on my nerves. He disapproved of everything I did and I didn't even make particularly evil decisions.

****iness can also be a defense mechanism.
But I suppose it was too strong a word. In any case, still, I doubt Anders and Alistair types are going to repeat in any major way.

I think that's what the sarcastic option will be for. If any character fits that bill it will likely be Hawke him/herself.

Alistair - classic bristling sarcasm as smokescreen for low self-esteem. It's the nerd's modus operandi, so I guess most of us can identify with it. Posted Image

That's probably because Justice only saw in black and white. There really isn't a gray area unless you start to influence (which.. originally starts with disapproval, I believe). Personally, I loved him.. 'course I had the redesigned Justice, but still.
