It depends on how tall Hawke is by comparison. In-game, dwarves come up to around a human's sternum, which is about a foot/foot and a half. Still don't see what height's got to do with it, but hey. Some people want a qunari - the height difference is the same there, if not more.

Yeh I found it weird in DA that Leliana would hit on a male Dwarf. Elf/Dwarf I could sorta see cos the height isnt a high difference but Human/Dwarf?

Same goes for Qunari. Its just weird and wrong lol. As far as im concerned anyway. I really hope they dont include it but the Talimancers and Garrus lovers in ME got their way about romancing those characters in spite of the fact that in BOTH games canon says that Quarian/Turian's arent sexually compatible with humans due to having a different type of chemical balance in their DNA, sexual contact could cause illness even death, and yet still these people insisted on it and Bioware caved completely ignoring their own canon.

So im hopeful yet pessmistic given Varric's extensive fanbase. Its almost guaranteed we will get him as an LI. *shudder*

I am also really hoping that they dont whimp out on the gay (m/m f/f) romances in DA2 the way they did in Mass Effect.

It's marketing hype. This fan board only reaches a tiny audience. By allowing magazines to announce things, magazines make money and BioWare is able to reach the largest possible audience.

They reveal a lot to us here. The personality tracker, the rivalry paths, what our new "camp" is, how they communicate with us, and a ton of other really interesting stuff gets revealed here first.

I was kind of offended by that. Why do I need therapy because I want a romance with a game character that looks 90 percent human. I didn't see mods make fun of the guys who were yelling," I WANT TO SEE TALI'S LUSCIOUS ALIEN FACE!" I mean, isn't this just hypocrisy at this point?

And, really, how can DwarfxHuman be pedophilia? They only have different heighs. But anyway, I'm happy with Varric personality so I don't care. We only have one male bissexual LI, if we have Qunari-lovers, Dwarf-lovers, Human-lovers and Elf-lovers only 1/4 of these people will be happy (or not, if they don't like the LI appearance or personality).

I would love a Qunari m/m LI, but if I have to be stuck with only one LI, I prefer a cool dwarf than a boring Qunari.

What possible benefit did you foresee for sharing your opinion that dwarves feel "vaguely" like children?

But I have been trying to search through and find this information.  Where in the condex did you get that sexual contact harms?

All I am getting is the different types of foods human, asari, and salarian eat then Turian and Quarian.

It's because of protein chirality. Turians and Quarians are dextro-based, everyone else (including humans) is levo-based. This extends to every type of protein that could enter their systems, from food to microbes to sexual fluids.

Look, I have alot of respect for Gaider. Earlier in this thread he said people who want a m/m romance should be included and that just because some people find it gross doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the game.  He also said only a finite amount of resources could be devoted to it, so it wouldn't be an epic ,m/m love story. I'm fine with that. I told him that was a good start. But for him to say I need therapy because I wanted a Qunari romance was just silly. Yes I was being sarcastic, I didn't NEED the Zevran romance but I enjoyed it. It would be a matter of ''lightening up,'' but considering this issue is so taboo, it makes more of an impact when he says it to me and not some other person. This issue may be trivial to you, but it means alot to me, so ofcourse I'm going to have a certain opinion about it.
