No, not really.  Females and males romancing Zevran have a different conversation about his sexual history, yet females get quite a few more banters.  Actually, in a fixed game (and I actually think I'm the only person whose mod has this fixed properly), post-Marjolaine, the conversation is supposed to be very different for males and females.  VERY different (due to a couple of bugs, though, everyone in the vanilla game, if they take a certain conversation choice, gets her romance lines that were intended for females).

You should be able to start the romance in the "hair" conversation.  You should also be able to end it completely (though this, again, in the vanilla game does not work properly).
But banters are a whole different thing.  It's fun to hear people actually talk about you as a couple when running around.  I mean, who doesn't want to hear their love interest saying how sexy they find you?  It's great!

Like I said in an earlier message, there is a whole different conversation regarding his sexual history for males and females.  And the banters are different.  There are enough differences in the "flipped genders" that it comes off as very plausible for both males and females.  IOW, there is more than just substituting "he" for "she" in various conversations that are similar.  It may not be a huge change in wording, but the way he approaches a man just seems different.

Gah, that is what you said.  Ok, I misread.  My apologies.

Though to be fair, males can only start the romance in the "forbidden fruit" conversation.  There's some other flirting that doesn't start the romance as well that's unique to males.  Well, that and post-marjolaine.  But the problem is for them, is it's easier for them to break the romance since they can start it a little earlier, and there's that problem with getting her personal quest.

Leliana will only have sex with a warden after she falls in love.  I'm not sure if that is what you are referring to.  If you're talking about Isabela, Morrigan stops it as well.  As does unhardened Alistair.  And hardened Leliana will go along with it and will even allow for a foursome.

Edit: To make clear, Leliana won't have sex with a warden of either gender before she falls in love, and she has to be hardened, for either gender, to get the threesome or foursome.  This is not a matter of ****blocking :/

How do you mean?  In banters?  If you're talking about jealousy conversations, that's also not a gender thing.  For Leliana, it works like this.

If she's at care (51+) and the warden has had sex with Morrigan or with Zevran (either gender), she will call them out on it.  You can lie, break up, or promise to break up with them.  [edit] I believe if you have Alistair at adore at that point, she will also question you. [end edit]

If she's at adore (71+) AND Zevran, Morrigan, or Alistair are also at adore (71+) you get called to the carpet again, by any of them, and forced to choose.

It's not a gender thing at all.

yea i sorta feel bad for them there because i looked up the m/m banters on wiki and they are actually funny.  Espically Oghren saying " good luck with that."

i know people disagree with me, but i think the lack of f/f banters is to even out m/f banters and somewhat resources, yes.

but i cant see Lel fighting over the Fem Warden with Alistair because she likes Alistair.  If you look at the catfight banter, Morrigan actually starts them.

I can see Zev commenting on a f/f relationship, and oghren.

Unless they started cutting back before everything was recorded.  Which would explain why there's no Gray Warden Alistair dialog at the DR conversation or at the archdemon.

Edit: It's really hard to say what caused some of the obvious missing content (I'm not putting Leliana's banters in that category mind you -- it's possible none was written, though that's a pretty significant oversight).
