I wish to re-install patch 1.04 but don't know how. It doesn't seem to be working. Sigrun and Velanna's personal quests still aren't working for me and all of the sudden, no matter my coercian and cunning the mob seems to get there food even if I didn't really offer it. Most notably however is my character limit was reached rather quickly because I have three characters that have each gone through Origins, Awakening and Golems of Amgarrak. I thought that the patch fixed these things. I intend to go through all of the different origin stories to do things differently in order to see what happens in DA2. I can't do this now. So I need to try to re-install the patch on my PS3. Any ideas?

Velanna's quest is still iffy for it to trigger. For me it seems 50% chance of happening, even with the patch. For Sigrun, do the Law and Order quest after you have done Sigrun's quest and that should work fine. As far as the mob goes, I always threaten them, telling them they will die and their family's will suffer. That usually disperses them peacefully. The 10 character limit is not a glitch. I absolutely hate it! I don't understand why they have it set up that way and I wish they'd get rid of it! You can use your Awakening saves to go into DA2 with, so go ahead and delete your Origin character saves that you imported into Awakening. You should be able to use your Golem saves to import also,in which case you could delete your Awakening saves after importing your character into Golems, but I'm not sure about that. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will come along and help you out.

Won't we need Origins and Awakening both so that we can upload the choices made in them both?

If you imported a character into Awakening from Origins, then it should've imported your decisions. Then you would just need to import your last Awakening save into DA2. If you imported a character into Golems, then you would just need to import your last save from Golems into DA2.

It's true. Just use save from Golems, it includes data from Origins and Awakening.Hayes1987 wrote...
