Lol, that's literally the best weapon in the game, a bit unfair to even put that one up.

Dont remember the name but it's a 2 hander dropped from Loghains guard. It's got good damage 2 runeslots and 20% physical resistance.
And of course the Starfang.

Keening is the best IMO. Haven't gotten it yet though...and it's only usable by warriors(stupid design choice...)

Being a duel wielder I'm always looking for one handed swords. Found a nice on in the drake spawn pools and turned out it was for Arcane Warriors only a bit of a shame. Can't remember the name cause I sold it having no one that could use it.

Spellweaver is the sword for Arcane Warriors.
There's a good one and cool looking one(very simple but elegant) from the Warden's Keep quest. Asturian's Might. Good buffs and if you use a glitch that causes sold items to change in material, you can get it up to Silverite(2 rune slots and higher damage).
Basically you sell it to the smith that comes with the Warden's Keep, exit his inventory, then reopen his inventory until the material has changed to Silverite.

The weapons I have on my rogue right now are what I consider the best for a rogue, or at least they're the best I've found. Both of them I got from merchants, for over 100g each (yes, I am a cheat cheater... I hadn't even reached 10 gold total after 30 or so hours in the game). I googled to find the stats of the weapons, since I can't access the game on this computer:
The Veshialle
+2 Strength
+5% Melee Critical Chance
+1.0 Combat Stamina Regeneration
+10% Critical Damage
+2 Nature Damage
3 Rune Slots
The Rose's Thorn
+2 Dexterity
+1.0 Combat Health Regeneration
+3 Damage
+5% Melee Critical Chance
+30% Critical Damage
3 Rune Slots
Then, of course, there's the weapon(s) you can make with the meteorite ore that you find in that random encounter, as long as you have Warden's Keep. But The Veshialle and The Rose's Thorn are weapons you can get without needing the DLC, pretty sure. At least, I don't remember the merchants being in DLC only areas.

If Bioware had properly bug tested I'd be using Rose's Thorn right away...as it stands, Daggers are incredibly gimped.

How about weapons you haven't found... I'm level 22 and fixing to finish up the game and I still haven't found the Far Song bow. It's driving me crazy...

The star blade can also be made into a 1h version for people that like dual wielding.
Best bow I have seen is Marjorie's bow (spelling) but it is usable by Leliana only =(.

+35 strength
+5 lightning damage
messy kills (when does all the epic finishes)
3 rune slots which i used two silverite runes and a expert lightning rune.

It's a random travel encounter, just have to wait until you get it.
