When a game tries to be realistic, saying it's "fantasy" when something unrealistic that can be compared to real life is a weak defense at best. If a human male had miniature arms in his nose or something, people would go "What the f-" instead of saying it's fantasy. We compare the real world to a fantasy setting thereby creating realism. Like Saibh said earlier, we can compare Bethany's breasts to that of average women and see it isn't realistic.

It simply is not a good idea to cahnge things to how a minority want them to be if you want to sell to  a lot of people.

The devs don't really have anything to gain from commenting on this subject. All that would happen is a portion of the community would feel alienated/pissed off. Some people want no sexualization or unrealistic proportions of any kind. Others feel the game should have both and I'm sure most people, like myself, don't give a damn either way.

That's why I said like 30 pages ago that this thread was pointless.

It's not exactly pointless, because I guarantee you at least one dev has read or seen the arguments on the subject, even if they know better than to comment. If I can't get what I want out of my arguments, which is a smaller size for the default female body model, then I at least want the devs to know that there is a significant segment of the playerbase that objects to giant boobs as a default. Baby steps.

But that's no excuse for you to use it as a twisted metaphor. Rape is a very sensitive subject for some.

WHen ahve they claimed their games to be realistic with their models?
As far as I can tell they say how their world works and interaction is realistic not the dang models.

Okay, well, now that I have compared that Christina Hendricks picture to the screenshot with Bethany and Hawke standing infront of the smoke on the horizon, I have to say that I retract my previous statement, which said something along the lines of "I don't find Bethany in particular to look ridiculous".
 
That is not what I see everyday on the street.

Until I have some more recent screenshots of Bethany, I'm not going to comment any further on her bust size. Any other comments that I have made I think are valid, but that's, err, yeah. I don't know if maybe the picture is influencing what I'm saying seeing in the screenshot or whatever (it's late, and I am beyond tired at this point) but I think I'm leaning more toward Dave's point of view on the issue.

I think it gives you a different perspective to see that size breasts on a real person. Christina Hendricks is gorgeous but her bust size is not the least bit common.

I think that may be the case.

And just so that people are not misunderstanding me, I wasn't saying that Christina Hendricks looks ridiculous or anything like that; I agree that she is absolutely gorgeous. But for somebody to have breasts like that in a Medieval setting is a little off-putting. And no, I don't think that "Well, it's fantasy!" is a valid argument in this case either.

Um, I don't see how that's out of the realm of belief. Men are victims of eating disorders, rape, abuse and domestic violence too. It still doesn't really make any of it funny.

But I don't think rape is nearly as traumatic an event for a man as it can be for women. Not to say that it's not unfair for anyone to be raped,

If a woman rapes a man ITS ALSO TRAUMATIC...since you know its rape when the man does not want it....he most likley tries to not get raped.......which would imply things happened to ensure he was raped.....
