The past few days I have seen bickering on these forums about the breast size in DA2. Ladies *sigh* my dear ladies, as amazing you all are some of you (not all /images/forum/emoticons/grin.png) have been.....well, a but difficult honestly. After taking a look at the forums I see despite the size of the threads, it is only a small few who seem to be just torn apart over the issue. What is the problem here? The breasts are big (but not THAT large honestly ) but as Mr Woo has stated, they are idealized (men and women). They're not realistic? Actually they are but even if they were not I don't see the problem. I hear ladies/ girls on these forums mention limitations of big breasts. Sure I have friends and relatives that complain about there large breast but you know what? I also have friends and relatives who are fine with them and a lot of them (the active ones) are just as good (or better) at sports, martials, etc. than females with small breasts. However this is DA2, I am more than posive the women in DA does not have to suffer back pains, loss of breath, breasts getting in the way etc. Just like some of you like smaller breast (females and males) others like larger breasts (males AS WELL as females). Why is it when someone says the breast is okay they are bashed? What makes any of our opinions any better than another? I'll tell you what: Nothing. No opinion is any better than another, especially in a case like this. (this is pretty much regarding one's personal taste.) Personally I don't care. Big breasts, small breasts it makes no difference to me, not in reality, not in a game. I do not pick my friends or potential girlfriends based on their breast size, nor will will I pick my games based on them. I play Bioware games because I want an awesome story with a character I can control.

Also, what is REALLY confusing is that some of you ladies complaining about this issue........are the same ones stating you want your Lady Hawkes in armor and full bodied outfits and so on and so forth. With that said I CERTAINLY do not see the problem. Seeing as how a lot of you opposed to the breast you have seen are planning to have them covered up anyway......just saying, I'm a bit lost. There are others who want to wear less armor and such and they have that right as well. Every gets what they want. Those who do not like the breasts, cover them up (like you were planning to do anyway) those who do not mind them or less armor cn also have something for them.

As far as it not being realistic, as I've said before large breasts are realistic. Every single women on the planet may not have large breasts but at the same time all of you do not have small breasts either. I find it amazing to see people saying "the breast size is too big! Every lady should not have big breast, it is unrealistic." only to say "make the breast smaller." Last time I checked, every lady having small breast is just as unrealistic as every lady having big breasts. Should there be variety? Sure! And DA2 will have that: They're called, human, elves, dwarves, quanari. All of these races represents some of the different body types that exist today. We to play as a human true enough and some of you have said the breats size would break the game for you. Well, it sounds like you have made up your minds and have your answer: Play origins and play an elf( thin with smaller breasts, exactly what you want ). It is also unrealistic for every guy to have a body like a super soldier but I don't mind at all. ( dwarves and elves counter that ) Also, some of you ask for realistic things while at the same time asking for something unrealistic. Example: A lot of you stated in another thread that a person in battle should be covered in armor and the leather armor or revealing armor made no sense. That statement is partially untrue. A warrior would armor. Even then if you look back in history a lot of the warriors would only wear armor in vital areas. The big massive armor ( that made it's debut as history advanced ) resulted in the soldiers within them being cooked alive ( in cases with fire ) or severely burned ( from the heat of the sun heating up the metal or steel ). Also, a rogue would not be sneaking around in heavy armor (unless he/she wanted to be found out rather quickly ), they would wear little to no armor. (which makes leather armor, clothing and even some revealing outfits fine ). A lot of things are not realistic in DA but who cares? There is something for everyone ( not just for males and not just for females or for the realistic people or unrealistic people ) and that is the way it should be, right?

I am not trying to pick with any of you ladies and I apologize if any of you feel that way. I love you all, I support your arguments about othere topics, you all have my respect and my support. Just this one time I am asking for "some of you" to lighten up just a bit /images/forum/emoticons/smile.png Who knows, maybe there are different body types for humans, though that would be too much work for the devs. If not though, that is the good thing about the other races: You can can the different body types without only having humans around. I know some of you want different to play a different body types or even different races and that will happen with other DA age games, don't worry. Let's just enjoy this game for what it is (well enjoy the info we have so far lol )

And true, its a fantasy. But to like and relate to stuff u need consistency in games. Ever heard of the statement "logical but not realistic"? That is what i think most of the players want.
Dragons are WAY to heavy on a realistic sidenot to be able to fly. They would need like 5 miles of a starting and landingstreet, kinda like a plain. But JK, that would be stupid. They have Wings, that are big and look okish, so get over with it, they can fly.
Logical, even though not realistic.

@dislye, look I'm a guy and even I think Bethany's breasts look ridiculous. Come on! Reminds me of Resident Evil 5, where Chris had arms actually thicker than his head, and everybody pretended it was ok.

They do track and volleyball in short shorts and tank tops or jerseys....and what if a girl with big boobs plays the game who can she relate to? You don't need small boobs to be active or fight darkspawn. (mages mostly just sit back and cast anyways whichh bethany is) 
Some chicks have big boobs and are active That's both logical and realistic
We've only seen 3 female characters and i think bethany has been the only one with large breast

You actually expect Bioware to make Character models Impact gameplay or story simply because of big boobs?
And bethanys rack isn't That big, Just looks  like she forgot a bra

And if you don't like the way the dress makes character models look be thankful those screenshots are taking towards begging of the game and probaly wouldn't be wise to have em in the gear anyways

Ye, some are. And i never disagreed with you here.
But imagine! There are SOME who dont have big ones. I dont want to start now if there are more big breasted or flatchested... cus come on! this is getting ridiculous.

Well thing is: Devs cant make to much bodytypes, cus its a ton of work. So we have to stick with one bodytype and just one. If some people think now it shouldnt be the overly endoused ones, i - out of personal tastes - agree with em.
I wont start or join a boob crusade, but i wanted to express my opinion.

@Bethany having the biggest ones. I dont think tis the case, they all have the same size, tis just Bethanys outfit that emphasis it the most.

More than once it's been mentioned how being a mage does not mean you don't have to carry your own weight around in the field. Think of a field medic who has to run around the battlefield draggin wounded allies out of harms way to patch them up. Or a radio operator who has to get communication up. The image of the supportive roll not having to do anything makes no sense.

Also, Bethany's mom and that other woman also had approx the same sized racks, so it's safe to say that's the standard model.

But the mage dosen't have to drag anyone or run anywhere really, Just wave her stick and people are healed. Big breast don't stop you from waving your hands. and as i stated in an earlier post i know girls on my campus who partake in sports such as track and volleyball who have large breast and haven't needed reduction surgery. you can be active AND have big breast
Bethanys mom screenshot is not that clear and breast looked normal to me.
