Now you're just trying to justify yourself blindly. Muscles make it possible to wear armor and lift weapons and use them effectively. They make it easier to endure long battles, traveling, and since muscles correlate with stamina, wounds and injuries.

Boobs don't do the same thing for girls.

At least for some the "problem" here is that oversized features (on both men and women) aren't "idealized" in their eyes but rather tacky due to their excessive nature. Idealized doesn't necessarily mean "overly large" and in fact when you examine ideals of say, ancient Greece which tend to get applauded for their taste, they show remarkable restraint in that regard.

As you comment yourself, tastes differ wildly and no single taste is "right", so it shouldn't really be surprising when there's objections to this particular choice of aesthetics the game designers have made... especially when said choice is pretty much shoved down everyone's collective throats with no alternative.

Speaking of muscled men, I did not approve of elves being the shorter, weaker-looking race in DA:O. Give them some muscle, lanky muscle, and at least same height as humans.



Hopefully they'll rectify it in DA2.

No i'm saying it's never even implied that mages need to sprint to fight or do for that matter,Mages are the nerds of the dragon age world i doubt they could run that fast anywayswould be more efficient to spend your time casting spells to knock down the rocks blocking your view from allies rather than running to them or being mages could probaly just teleport to the teamate

mages can't teleport in DA. Not without use of some seriously bad juju.

A mage in DA is still a soldier and he'll be responsible for all the same things minus the actual slashing. It's a stretch to assume mages really do just stand there waiting for you to approach them before moving and not take advantage of their lighter gear to maneuvuer around the field figuring out where his spells are most needed.

In the intro cutscene of dragon age origins i belive we see some darkspawn charging a mage and rather than trying to get distance he simply wiggles fire out of his fingers and burns them and when one comes up behind him rather than run he just sits there waiting to be saved by an arrow. and their light gear are robes which are not very fit for running in making it seem plausible that mages aren't trained in the tower to run track for battlefield advantage.

well im not sure if your joking or not but i doubt he just because he is very muscular he is taking steroids. i hear that quite a lot about people who arevery muscular. For some people it comes more naturally than others.

Tis true, its different for differnt people. I am training myself and drinking protein Shakes and stuff to help developing fatless muscels. (No steroids though, good God)
But i must also say that Chris from RE 5 was just OVERdone. To get a Body like he has in the game, u need to spend 12 to 14 hours a day training, exercising possibly haveing your own diat cook etc etc. To make it short, its a full time job to get a body like this. Tis is NOT accomplishable with 2 to 3 hours training a day, at least not without steroids and ****.

-> Tis also means Chris couldnt be busy chasing Umbrella around the planet, cus he simply would have NO TIME to do so. He would be in the gym, pumping up.

I'm upset becausethe female community is overreacting to a small prblem and if dragon age get's delayed to reduce breast size it would be rather lame reason.

Bottom line is there are many more things that make far less sense in dragon age than women fighting with big boobs, It's fantasy and you can force bethany to wear leather or a full on robe that dosen't show off large breast if it bothers you that muchh.

Well, it effects our enjoyment of the game. We don't get a choice about it. Besides then, clearly its a big enough deal to have this many pages in this short of time. People clearly care, one way or the other.

Too be fair. This thread consists of maybe 5 pages of actual helpful discussion on this topic. The other 45 pages are mostly bad boob jokes, insults, images that have nothing to do with dragon age, discussion of images that have nothing to do with dragon age, and male or female gamers insisting that boobs do or do not play a role when it comes to partners in real life.

This thread just makes me sad. I'd recommend that a dev take it out to pasture and shoot it in the head but I know someone would just restart the whole thing.

We really need some new DA2 info to overshadow this whole mess and give us something else to talk about. Hopefully the Dev's will be merciful and provide us with something.

Until then maybe the ME boards have something interesting going on.

What i hate about his look is he is spending months in a country with zombie's and drought yet he has perfectly gelled up hair, If i was fighting a zombie army i would resort to steroids that makes complete sense to me

Problem because If it delayed the game for the reason to "shrink bewbs" i would be mighty pissed, and they should be focusing on gameplay and story rather than bethanys outfit

yes, he defended himself and acted quickly to push away the offenders who were attacking him. And he doesn't sit there waiting for anything, he's tending to something else when the darkspawn comes up on him and before he even realizes its there the thing is killed by that bowman elf.

Never ran in robes so I can't comment on it but at least you've come to a similar conclusion I did about my mage who'd spend the majority if his life away from physcial activity. He had a hell of a time getting used to life on the road and all its stresses. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been were he female with Bethany's chest.

Exactlyboobs are a problem, but not the only one
Gonna go to amazon to buy some robes and test out how hard it is to run i'll be sure to return with the results in 3-5 buisness days

This is world champion in body building. A fully matured man, also. You don't see his arm being thicker than his head, do you? Let alone the forearms. That game guy has wrists thicker than arms of a typical, fit man.

If you honestly don't see what's abnormal there, you simply have very limited knowledge of what human body actually looks like.
