Would you be ok with guy oriented eye-candy if there were more for women?

No, but when training the reason men get stronger than women is due to testosterone as it's muscle building. That is why testosterone shots are categorized as steroids..

I know that, I'm not a high-shcool educated egomaniac like you are. I also know that SHEER MUSCLE MASS is not the way to win a fight, it's a combination of flexibility, training, speed, strength, focus, strategy, and dumb luck.

And by the way HUGE MUSCLES do not equal strength. In fact, a lot of "body builders" out there are pretty weak for their weight because they train for size, not strength.

What sport it is this? when I was younger, in both striking & wrestling sports (in fact only striking, there was no women's division in olympic greco-roman wrestling that I'm aware of) male/female divisions were separate.

However, as pointed out the muscle mass and strength is not a guarantee one can win a fight, as a smaller person can beat up a larger, stronger one. So testosterone plays little role here.

All the taekwondo and karate tournaments I've seen are not divided by gender.

How so? What do you think testosterone does, exactly?

In same weight division women stand a good chance. Testosterone is the reason men can build their muscular mass much easier than women.

Exactly my point. I don't have huge muscles, but I've hit men hard enough to make them cry before. Not in their family jewels, either. It's not always about sheer strength, but knowing which parts of the body are most vulnerable to what type of attack.

Yes, which is why I said a female Fighter cannot take down a male Fighter. Men are stronger physically, that's just the way it is, and that added to all those above and the man wins. I'm not just stating things at random, I've been training Muay Thai for a couple of years, and the women don't stand a chance when sparring the men, even when they're in the same weight class, and that 's even when the men don't hit half as hard as when sparring with other men. The guys are both stronger and faster, and many of these girls have trained just as long or longer than many of the men.

Protein is also a major factor in muscle building.  However, if testosterone was the only chemical needed to produce muscle mass, one would still need to use the organ that produces it.

Small local tournaments that don't affiliate much with the official rules. My primary style is Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Secondary is Muai Thai. So mostly small scale MMA.

It was started up by some local old-school martial artists, so that may be why they only separate by weight class.

yes they are, else US army wouldn't be using them. For a bare hands fight (e.g. queensbury rules or mma rules) though, unless there is a considerable gap in physique or technique, I can't agree, separate divisions are there for a reason.

Imo that depends a lot on the fighting style. If u look into the eastern fighting techniques, that specifially developed for  weaker or smaller people, it gets very very different.
If u compare a fistfight that is restricted to fightingstyles that support raw strenght/bodymass/stamina u are right. But this is kind of an silly comparison to begin with, if it favours one of the two groups by its restriction. (the fightingstyle in this case)

ok, fair enough, I'd be interested to go through the rules when I have time tho, to see how come it is that way. In boxing divisions are different and I find it reasonable that way tbh.

"High school girls discussing wang sizes. We've officially hit rock bottom, gentlemen." - thank you Rifftrax.

The fact that there has been a discussion on breast sizes for 62 pages makes me realize how much sex works in the media. *Might not like it, but you're discussing iiiiit!*
And all of Bioware assemble and laugh at what they've stirred up.

But, then again, if breast sizes are the biggest complaints of the community, there must not be that much we have to fear from this game ...

Well, this IS a biggest complaint since it has to do with immersion you see... Hm. Have you played Conan, a PS3/360 game? We have exactly Conan syndrome here. Beefed men and slim women with huge breasts.

Conan style is getting old. We should move on... And as far as I know DA is supposed to differ from stereotypical fantasy...

Never played the game, but saw the movie and it's basically the same, right? *Body type/costuming wise. I mean, Arnie, right? ugh*

But I just don't see it happening here, the steroid-induced men and scantily clad women *well, no, there were Chasind robes, and the other variations of it.* But I just don't see it being that bad, ya know?
Then again, my perception of immensely exaggerated is obviously not the same as others.

But I garauntee if I start seeing Stallone running around with his model honeys in DA, I know we've somehow turned into God of War D:

You're an idiot. Are you saying that a man will always be better than a woman in all those combined factors? ALWAYS? Because I've seen some men who are complete pushovers. I've seen men dropped by two hits. I've seen a 90-lb 4'8" woman flip a man onto his back and then crush his neck because she was able to use his own weight against him. I don't care what you think you know, I'm telling you what I know, and that's that I've seen highly-trained women beat highly-trained men multiple times. So don't tell me that a man will ALWAYS win.

I hadn't done training in an eastern technique/style, in what I trained & competed at, divisions were different and I find it just. It's not only boxing rules, in greco-roman as well men have a significant advantage.

In any case e.g. in mma events, where athletes of all styles compete, they separate male & female divisions, so I take it in "bare hands" fighting divisions do need a separation as well.
