Would you be ok with guy oriented eye-candy if there were more for women?

Women also lack the agression and competiveness that men possess I would bet my hat that women would lose to men in fights even if they were equal in strenght and size for this reason.

Regarding the original thread subject I strongly dislike the sexism that is present in nearly all videogames but let's remember that not only do the women in games seem to represent some kind of basement dweller's wet dream ideal the men to are highly idealized in that they are all bodybuilders with identical six packs.

Seriously a relatively mature franchise like Dragon Age shouldn't suffer from **** like this. Please start making realistic character models with a realistic array of body types ranging from fat to slim, muscular and accountant. It would honestly help define characters a lot more if their bodies were as unique as their faces.

Did you realize that it took only 69 seconds for the Brazilian jujitsu world champion Fabrico Werdum to choke top-ranked MMA heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko into submission?  Yes, a girl reads Sports Illustrated.  And don't even get me started on the gender stereotypes regarding aggression and competiveness.

Yes, after Fedor pummeled him and pretty much jumped into a choke. That was a sad day for me...

And also! Fedor body Hawke would be awesome, no six pack, just a big bear type warrior.

I know, but it's just difficult to inject joking wistfulness into text.  Also I bow to your superior knowledge of wrestling as I will admit I know almost next to nothing.Image IPB

haha I've had these thought on female wrestling as well .

It's a matter if you've done a sport, physique training needs to be such that you get minimal injuries and the first thing to look out in greco-roman is your spine.

I don't really know anything about rules & training of the other sports people mentioned here, like jujitsu, taekwondo, karate etc and probably never will since I've stopped competed & training in dynamic sports for many years (~10).

Jeez in the years I haven't watched MMA Fedor lost a fight :(

Which base style is king is also a matter of fashion, in the older days of Mark Ker & Mark Coleman, where they double legged and did ground & pound to everybody, freestyle wrestling was (mistakenly) perceived as the best. Then when Nogueira beat Coleman automatically (mistakenly again) bjj was perceived as best.

Fedor also has a grappling background btw, he was a sambo champion, which is a Russian variation of jujitsu so that leglocks were included in competitive practice. Sambo may not be as well known but is quite popular among graplers, e.g. Rickson Gracie did participate in Sambo tournaments (and also has scored a loss there).

Yeah, 'cause that's, er, much better. Then again, the thread started out discussing some of what the women want in their fantasy game males, not necessarily "boobtalk".

I'm all for equality, though, so have at it.

Wow, I had to go back to the OP to double check the topic!Image IPB

So yes, I am okay with men having their eye candy as long as it's not applied to every female throughout the game.  For example, Morrigan has her revealing robes, and some of the Chasind robes are rather revealing, but the majority of the clothing and armor for women leaves much to the imagination.  As far as eye candy for women, I must say I got my fill every time I changed out armor for Alistair.  It was enough.Image IPB

He/She posted somewhere in one of these 60+ pages that he's ok if boobs are discussed, as this appeared to be the cutting edge trend, so we took him at word :D

Do you know why it's really stupid to mention an exception to the rule as an argument against MMA beating specialized fighters? It's because I never said a specialized fighter couldn't ever beat an MMA fighter but rather stated that in general MMA fighters tend to be vastly superior. In order for your ''well this one time'' argument to actually make any sense you'd have to misinterpret me gravely to the point off being guilty of strawmanning but somehow I don't think you missinterpreted me I think you just think that you can justify your own fantasies about specialized fighters being superior too MMA fighters by doing nothing more than mentioning one instance in which your beliefs were true.  Either way you fail or troll.

Oh and btw it's due to biology not stereotypes that  men  are more aggressive and competitive and I suggest you don't even get me started on it.

Female muscle has the exact same strength as male muscle. Therefore, a female warrior could theoretically have more raw muscle strength than a man. Men generally build more of it faster, but FemHawke is no doubt highly athletic. This says nothing of such things like agility, flexibility, swordsmanship, intelligence, experience etc.

thread's all about boobs, not about if women can compete with men in mma! m/f divisions are there anyhow and UFC staff is probably not watching this thread.

No, women's anatomy is not suited for battle and no they cannot have more raw muscle strenght than an equally trained man.  Furthermore we know of agility, flexibility and swordmanship from sports that men are superior and while men are certainly not more intelligent it's hardly a particularly important attribute, it's more a matter of not being stupid (which however women are better at as their IQ is more evenly spread than men's) and being having the right mindset for battle which men possess too a much greater degree than women.

Not trolling, just stating an exception to your all or nothing statement.  No need to become hostile.  I actually like MMA and think that the fighters are actually rather respectful of one another.
As far as aggressiveness and competition goes, I have found that women and men are fairly equal in that deparment, but have different ways of expressing it.  Biology only goes so far.

Wrong on all points, like wow; That's one long list of commonly accepted stereotypes with zero actual thought behind them.

You're looking at professional sports and being like women can never get there so obviously man is the superior sex. This a mistake and really stupid as odds are no lay individual is likely to ever be able to do that and all that 'fitness' isn't much use on the battlefield. Even in MMA wrestling and boxing. These are events with strict rules determining what you can and cannot do and such rules don't mean much in an actual fight and the habits they get you into can backfire.

What you should be looking at is how women perform when put into active military roles especially when they have the same standards as their male piers.

You know nothing about anatomy, then. MUSCLE IS MUSCLE. Yes, men build it faster than women but it is the same tissue with the same density and strength.

And when did men become more flexible than women? Show me some evidence please.

And the right mindset? WTH. Pretty sure I have a violent mindset, and I'd show it to you if you said stuff like this to my face.

2 things.

1)get off your high horse.

2)it most certainly isn't do to biology that men are more aggressive than women. In fact, men aren''t more aggressive than women. That's gibberish.

What happened to these boards during my nap? Did every stupid male inspired stereotype decide to make its way onto the boards?

During the Baywatch-era Pam was about on par but anyhow there are women with such breasts that didn't use prosthetics like Pam. It's not such a rarity to see a woman with big breasts like Bethany's.
