On the points of the houses, I had really hoped to see Shepards apartment more in ME2, or you get the house from the Katsumi DLC...  But that hasn't happened, I understand the "loft" concept on the SR2, but it would bring a whole other element to the game to have your own place to bring the ship in to dock and call your own.  A place for the rest of the team to take some downtime. 

I mean, I get it that in both games there really hasn't been time for that, you have a looming threat and it needs to be dealt with, but with the ability to continue the story and go do new things after the main story is complete, it would just bring a whole new element to the game in the way a player gets immersed in it.

if they took an element from GTA and gave you an apartment house or what not to go and save you game use an extranet terminal or watch the news that would be kind of interesting something minor along those lines would be kind of interesting to see.

I got a house, That sweet pad you get from Pinnacle station lol. I want to go there again.

It's not a bad idea, but I think the customizable 'apartman' should be inside the normandy. A house on a planet just doesn't fit in Shepard's lifestyle. He/she is always on the way somewhere. My idea is to extend Shepard's cabin and give him/her an entire level on the normandy with different rooms.

I think the CO's cabin should be more customizable. I want to plaster posters of Hanar Fornax models all over my walls.

...you get a house when? If I had a house I'd use it even if it was only to save maybe if you got a house or apartment on a planet of your choosing in 3 then it could be unlocked after the final mission is over along with more quests and missions.

I just want my house on Intai'se back! I loved that house. Even though you couldnt do anything to alter it.

Yeah, they could make it a thing whereby you have to refurbish it and do it up again since you've neglected it for two and a half years or so.

Really If I get a house they better not do like that one gate in fable 2 did " see the lovely picturesk winter cottage as you walk up and dream of living there you go inside (lights go out) who forgot to pay the electric bill? (lights come on) AH dead bodies!" No if I get a lovely house damn it I want to keep a lovely house no bodies in my living room!!!!

That would be a cool little sub-plot to do.  Personally, I want to have a house be something like a bit of a command center during ME3... maybe have long term experiements running there for research or something... maybe not critical to the game but things to help you along a bit further.

Yeah that would be nice if mordin ends up being an npc maybe you can loan him the house and come back and check his status and while you're there he randomly gives you very unique prototype weapons and armor that you only get via him then you can also hang out, save, and sleep there too.

i think the entire point of shepard is that normandy is his home and the crew his family...Though i guess it would be cool to have apartments or something at every major city since he probably earned a lot of money and spends it only on weapons and ship upgrades haha and his toy models
