Diablo 3 dialogue wheel is better...

I disagree with that. Looks like a complete mess. You have many options, woohoo, still looks like crap. Takes up the entire screen. For a game like that, it works, for a game like Dragon Age: Origins, it would be crap. They could easily shrink that wheel down by adding an investigate, trade options, or some general options that open up the options that don't include moving the dialogue along.

Just an opinion of personal taste when it comes to games, but having text blow up all over the screen seems annoying, would prefer it on the bottom half of the screen at least. Or, have the interface and the visuals seperated, like with the old Fallout games and such.

Knowing Blizzard it's a joke not meant to be taken seriously too.

So far the one screenshot is the only proof we have yet. So have fun raging.

There's actually a post by one of the devs floating around says that at max the wheel will have 5 choices, plus an Investigate option that can house another 5 questions. This is what's you'd of learned if you did your homework. And I hope you're drinking your milk.

The fact thatt they brought back the dialog wheel is enough proof that the dialog is going to be as linear as mass effect.

Didn't you just say good night go to bed and drink your milk might I suggest 4 Oreos to go along with said milk.

How was Mass Effect's dialogue "linear?" And how will having the options in a circle instead of a line mean that DA2 game is forced to be the same?

Makes sense. I wasn't bashing Diablo 3, just the way that dialogue thing looked. I haven't been following Diablo 3, so it would be foolish to jump to conclusions on it.

Replay Mass Effect, then smack yourself in the face.

Or, how about you just take a second to prove you know what you're talking about? Because it's pretty obvious you don't.

So wait, you're pissed off because they changed the dialogue LIST into a dialogue WHEEL? What, are you just fonder of the list format or something?
The format change doesn't necessarily mean that they will be taking a page from the ME universe and making you choose between three standard dialogue choices. For all we know they could have simply chosen to use the wheel format because it looks nicer, not because they want to limit how many things our characters can say. Have some faith and wait for them to give us more info. If it turns out that we're given irrefutable proof that it's identical to ME's system, which I rather liked, then feel free to **** and moan.

They added a dialog wheel? Thats it. They ****ed up Dragon Age 2. No matter how hard they try, Dragon Age 2 will never be at the same level as Dragon Age Origins. Since there is now a dialog wheel you are now going to play as either the Good Guy, the Bad Guy, or the ****. Only 3 options. I liked Dragon Age Origins because it had dialog options like KoToR. Dragon Age 2 is going to be as linear as Mass Effect and Final Fantasy 13. SERIOUSLY look what happened to ff13!

Still...

I still am going to buy Dragon Age 2.... I am disappointed in myself. It will not be a pleasant experience playing it.

Then clearly you have not read my other posts about the 3 paths of morality you can choose from related to the dialog, take a second to read over it.
