 Hi, I saw this somewhere but I just can`t get the search to work.

Where do I get the drake skins for Wade in Denerim? And how many do I need to finish the quest?

From drakes. You find a couple in the mage tower, one in a random encounter, and a lot of them leading up to finding the urn of sacred ashes.

Not really sure about an exact number you need from the quest, but just going through the quest to find the urn should net you more than enough for the first set of armor.

To start the quest for the urn, go to Brother Genitivi's house in the market of Denerim. (not sure about spelling, but it's close enough, you'll see it.)

You will need 3 drake scales for each set of armor..... Just remember this one thing, when you go to get the last 6 drake scales durning the urn of sacred ashes questline, depending on what decisions you make regarding that quest, you might get your hands on a dragon scale. Wade will make you a dragonbone set if you ask him to but after that his pimp wont let you talk to him, so make sure that you get the three sets of drakescale made BEFORE you ask him to make ur dragonbone set.

Huh, I`ve just finished the mage tower and I didn`t find a single drake...



I`ve got 6 drake skins from the Mountain Ruin in the Ashes quest, but apperantly to get the best drake armor you need 9.



So, could you tell me where in the Tower did you find the drakes?? Thanks.

He only makes 2 sets of Drakescale Armor I thought? And one set of Dragonbone



Paying for all of them results in you getting AMAZING armor from the Dragonbone.

I'm pretty sure he only makes two sets of drakescale, and one dragonscale (depending on whether you choose medium, heavy, or massive). It's a good idea to pay him all three times, as well... if you have the money.

I was able to get him to start on the second set of drake armor after he made the dragonbone armor.

On xbox, I found two drakes after the sloth demon.

do we get a dragonscale as loot for killing the high dragon in the frostback mountain? I didn`t get the one from the quest...

Yeah you loot the dragon scale off of the dragon.

Quick question: is the armor qulaity better if you pay him 10 and 20 sovereigns for first and second armor respectively? Or is it the same quality you get when you chose to let him make them for free?

I believe it adds a bonus to stamina regeneration if you pay however I'm not certain. For the record there are two sets of armor he makes from drake scales and one set from the dragon scale, after all three are made you can't buy anything else from the shop.

Yeah, but the armor was kinda lame, especially the massive dragon scale armor.

got 1 drake armor.. which sucked IMO ( yes i paid for it).. then got an amazing dragonbone massive armor.. and he is now busy for the second drake armor....hope its better as armor part 1
