If the little barely educated mage kid in Redcliffe possessed by a desire demon can command an army of the undead that holds down a village and a formerly well defended castle, imagine what 10 year old Flesh Bound Old God under Morrigan's tutleage can do in DA2.

Wear a bunny suit and sing god knows ?

Problem with the OGB is that it may or may not exist. Since Bioware said the 'main character' of Dragon Age is Thedas, so a land and not actually the heroes we play, it seems that Thedas changes due to the choices we make. So is it likely they make a game based on an event that maybe never happened?

Morrigan will come back and maybe with a whole game all about her, but I think her babe won't play a major role. Maybe a side note or just a possibility that doesn't really have a great impact on the world.

Maybe Morrigan will raise her offspring in this fashion.
Since it would take all her time, raising the Cthulu like this would explain why if Morrigan is never seen again.

:P

No, I would be mocking myself as well then.
But somehow the idea of God like tsundere remind me of a certain famous creature in bunny suit.

And it's amusing.

That's an interesting concept but what would her role be? Certainly a game based on her could have potential but seeing her as the protagonist just doesn't fit her. She needs a more specialized role. Ugh I'm to tired to elaborate some sleep will do me good excuse me.

i tried i really really tried to avoid entering into another pro Morrigan thread but i just can not help myself. It does appear that Bioware also feels that Morrigan's character is a minor character, and that the choice she presents to the warden is insignifigant by giving her a simple trite DLC. I for one will pass on this DLC unless it is confirmed that i can kill Morrigan once and for all, one good eviceration and the swamp **** is silent. To those Morrigan fans i really really hope this DLC is all you asked for, and finally Bioware reveals to you her true nature as evil incarnate with boobs.

I'm actually hoping that the upcoming Morrigan DLC is there to set up more things for both her and the Warden in the future (DA3? 4? 5? etc.?).

I like Morrigan and all but no to the OP's suggestion. She doesn't need a WHOLE game with her as the central character. I would however prefer a full expansion pack rather than a dingy $7 DLC for Witch Hunt.

If Morrigan was a side character for the game and I could still play my warden then fine, but I'll doubt that would happen...

Morrigan can have her own game as long as she stops being a part of Dragon Age. I am so sick of Morrigan, honestly. I don't like her design, I didn't think she was all that well written, I didn't think her voice suited her (it sounded too old). I basically kick her out of my party as soon as I'm able, or else just leave her to rot in Camp. The only good thing about Morrigan was the actual acting part of the voice acting, but that can't save the rest of it.

You serious? A game revolving around motherhood?

I don't suppose the following game should deal with Oghren trying to save his marriage while dealing with the bar scene or perhaps even Allistair and his secret stamp collection, eh?

thats already been done do you recall friends?

I also think that Morrigan's plot deserved more than just a small 30mins dlc ! The plot has all the ingredients which could make a full blow sequel to DA:O. A warden who slained Archdemon, A Witch who is the daughter of Flemeth of the legends ( by the end of game she aslo became a powerfull one ), A child who has the essence of Old God. I mean what else you want ?

Incase you guys who think that after making the ultimate sacrifice there is no chance of Morrigan having a demon baby. In the epilogue, it was mentioned that witch was seen with a baby, moreover there were 3 wardens at the end.Nowhere it is denied that morrigan did not made a secret pact with 3rd warden or completed dark ritual with him.

No. Having to suffer that stuck up cow in one game was bad enough.

I'm not opposed to a game about Flemeth. Or any other characters in DA except Isolde, Anora or Cauthrien.

Hell, a game about Old Tegrin would be story telling gold!

She's pregnant at the end if you romanced her, and/or did the Dark Ritual. If you don't touch her, she's not pregnant at the end.

Also, its been said by David Gaider that if she went around your back and did the ritual with someone else, then no one would've died at the end.

You can't make a game based on a choice in a previous game that some people did not choose. You couldn't design Dragon Age 3 or a DA Morrigan spinoff around the god baby story because some people didn't choose to do it. Otherwise you've just completely killed player's agency regarding one of the most important decisions in the game. And from everything BioWare's said, they aren't particularly fond of squashing your decisions.

Besides, the Morrigan/god baby story, to me, is not nearly as interesting as people make it out to be. In Witch Hunt, if she gives me good reason to I won't hesitate from ripping my claymore through her from shoulder to hip. Let's see how she likes a bit of Holy Smite in the face.

I am not sure whether I fit best into the anti- or pro-Morrigan camps. I do think that the DR/ no DR decision is a pretty significant one that would affect all of Thedas.

They made a morrigan DLC.

They advertise it as loose ends being tied.

Chances are you will find out about the effects of the DR if you chose it.

urghh..

last time I checked males played video games? not women?

ACTUALLY according to a conversation I was present at on the live feed from Edmonton, it was stated that 22% of the gamers that play DA:O  are women ..so put that in your pipe and smoke it :P

We DO exist,  I realize that ruffles the manly feathers of some folks around here, but thats how it goes. :P

I loooove unbiased journalists like you, Steve.  :P

Youre just jealous because you just sacrificed your warden for god & country (leading to a dead-end) and now we dark ritualists get a chance to exercise our fetishes once more... :wizard:

I don't think a full game or sequel all to Morrigan would be necessary..would be nice to see her in an expansion rather than the short little dlcs that we see.

I don't think it will do full justice to that story..IF they touch on it at all.   Remember,  Morrigan did the DR due to her mother's scheming.   The reason why Morrigan went with the Wardens in the first place, was just for that purpose, the goal being to get with child, and that child would be the purified edition of the Old God.      I don't know why they aren't following this up..it seems to me a rather large story with lots of potential, but hey I'm not the writer and I don't hold the purse strings at EA.   I guess I'm disappointed with that story not turning out to be important.

Well that's the thing we don't even know if Morrigan was following her mother's scheming or not. Or if somehow Flemeth foresaw all of this and Morrigan under the delusion that she made the choice herself when she is actually doing as Flemeth wants. Is Morrigan in on it with Flemeth, has Flemeth actually taken Morrigan's body already. Was that the ACTUAL grimoire? What will happen to the OGB? Will it give Flemeth/Morrigan access to ancient powers long lost?

So many questions, not enough answers. :pinched:
