An exotic luxury world is under attack while Shepard is there because of Plot Device A is there. Shepard without squad members is the only thing between the attackers and the innocents. Shepard takes command of the people in the resort blocking certain exits, arming certain people, and taking up defensive positions between waves. Shepard's actions can be idealistic (security guards and Shepard fighting off everything while spending most time protecting innocents) or pragmatic (recruiting said innocents to fight with you and leave certain people on the other side of the resort on their own because splitting up this group into two hurts the chances of defense).

And then you can visit the luxury world after you finish the DLC with your Paramoor for the fun of it! :P

How about another Joker mission where he saves EDI from being shut down by Cerberus. make him go thru the crawlspace since EDI like to see humans on their knees, jokingly.
And, make Mordin another quest as  the last member of the League of One.

I would really like the next DLC to increase the level cap! I'd already reached level 30 with Overlord, so the 1200 odd xp I got from LoSB have pretty much gone to waste.

So a level cap and the ability to include the xp from LoSB get's my vote. And I'd like it to be about the VS.

I would actually want a DLC to bridge the plot towards ME3.

Not some corny plot-convienent mission involving the Virmire Survivor and Cerberus or something, and then the last 30 minutes of it is them romancing.

I liked Shadow Broker, cause well, it advanced the plot.

Mass Effect: Beach Volleyball not appeal to you?

Come on, you know you'd be jealous to see Jacob in a swimsuit.

And Grunt in a banana hammock.

Reuniting with Kaiden/ Ashley seem the likely choice, or having a mission for Shepard reliving his background

How about something like Lelianas Song? It would be about pre-ME2 events, Ashley/Kaiden would be the main character of the DLC, the choices would be limited as they are set characters. It could be something that would explain their hostility toward Cerberus (not that ME1 events should not be enough).

Kasumi would like that.

Kenneth and Jeff would like Miranda in bikini ... and who know, maybe Jack has some interesting tattoos we did not get to see.
Hmm, wonder whether Shepard's swimsuit would have N7 or Cerberus logo.

Okay, that was not good, I can do better, really.

Tali funeral DLC.

Nah that would be a DLC where you kill Jack and ****** on her grave.

I wouldn't like that. Nothing to play for me. I left Jack for dead in the Collector Base before I blew it. (Didn't bother to check whether she was actually dead.)

I'm pretty tired of hearing the "Shep back story" suggestion. Keep it moving! No flashbacks to how Shep got started, no First Contact War, no how Garrus got his squad.

I'd rather see DLC or preferably expansions that open up new areas on our maps (citadel, omega, etc) that can be revisited instead of doing a couple of missions in new areas and not being able to return to them.

At the center of said DLC/expansion should be a story or events that move the trilogy forward. For those of us that told TIM to eat a dick, new missions should come from Liara or even EDI; from TIM for the pro Cerberus people. The squad mates should have new dialogue, new things to do. I'm sure everybody is sick of calling them up to their room for snuggles. Ultimately this content would be best if it could only be triggered after the suicide mission and LotSB

Here's an example: You travel to the citadel to take evidence to Anderson about the Reapers. Shep and Jacob get schlitzed at Flux. If Jacob and Sheppard are romancing then maybe they get really loud on the citadel. Shep, Garrus go and visit Dr. Michel. This then sparks conversation about Garrus’s mother and Sheppard offers to help. Upon meeting Anderson, you learn of his resignation from the council and other some of what happened in Retribution. He suggests that you gather more evidence. You track down Chorban for the Keeper data. Anderson drops a line to you later about some project or mission related that Kaiden/Ashley are on involving the Geth and that it's gone silent. Intel is limited so you need another source. Shep get's in contact with Emily Wong who steers you toward a source on Omega.

En route to Omega, Liara pings you about the events of Retribution and gets you a secret place to dock (remember that Aria will be pissed at all things Cerberus). You track down Wong's source who then tells you that Aria's forces have been acting strangely lately, above normal shakedowns and something about an Alliance prisoner. That being all the info they have, Shep is going to need more intel. Time to lean on Anto (regardless of how the Ish mission is handled, he is still exploitable) after some paragon or renegade persuasion, Anto tells you the location of Kaiden/Ashley and why Aria is holding them. Turns out, Aria wants to get to get a hold of you, being affiliated with the Cerbs and all.

The player has a choice here: bust Ashley/Kaiden out or go deal with Aria. Doing the former is a more pro-cerberus thing; it results in a gun battle and will ultimately make for a potential new enemy in Aria for ME3. The second choice results in talking to Aria and EDI giving her a ton of Cerberus intel thus assuring Aria is on your side and maybe opens up a one nighter (if the player wants).

Back onboard the Normandy. Shep talks to Kaiden/Ashley. If they were a LI and you've moved on this may become heated and there should be some friction between them and new LI depending on paragon or renegade choices during this convo. If Shep has stayed “true" then all out whoopee should ensue. Now if Shep has moved on, but wants to get back with K/A then there should be an option to go and break it off with current LI but K/A will need time to think about things, until then let's focus on the mission. Also if Shep pro Cerberus, I think it's definitely over.

The mission is about the Geth (stupid Alliance). On the way to their mission they were attacked by pirates, their squad killed and they needed to resupply on Omega when Aria grabbed them. If you were a tool and gave Legion to Cerberus, then there’s a good chance that there could be Geth on the move. If Legion was recruited, then introductions are in order and Legions story about the heretics and the loyalty mission is shared. However, this should be investigated. Go to the galaxy map and head to the co-ordinates.

Once you arrive in this new system, you scan the planets and an anomaly is revealed. EDI warns of ships matching Geth signatures are indeed on the planet’s surface as well as several other life forms. K/A joins you in the shuttle along with another squad mate and then everybody heads to the surface. There are 2 Geth ships on the ground outside of what appear to be some ruins. Your team heads inside, there are no Geth to be seen. Upon further exploration, EDI pipes up that these ruins are in fact Prothean and there’s strange readings coming from deeper inside. You begin to encounter the bodies of destroyed Geth, everybody is getting bad feelings. Suddenly Shep comes upon a chamber with what looks like a Prothean beacon the centre. There’s a problem though: the Yahg. A fierce battle ensues, the Yahg always hunt in small groups. After the fight, K/A asks what the hell those things were and you share the details about how the Yahg are supposed to be pre-space flight. The Geth that follow the Reapers (or the heretics before rewrite/destruction) must’ve been sent to uplift the Yahg in order to aid the Reapers with their plans. Due to their fierce nature they killed the Geth that brought them there. This bad news because now there’s a very good chance of Yahg (in various phases of indoctrination) loose on the galaxy with Geth tech.

But why?

As Sheppard nears the beacon, images begin to flash through your mind. Reapers, Collectors, Protheans and lastly a series of buildings.

“Oh, not this again.” K/A will say as they help you to your feet. We need this info deciphered. Time to go and visit our favorite blue friend.

Shep then radios Joker to tell him to have the Shadow Broker base punched in and ready to go by the time you take the shuttle back. If you chose to encourage the Quarians to go to war with the Geth and Legion was recruited, Joker will then inform you of a little problem. Legion has boarded one of the Geth ships on the planet surface and is making a getaway (presumably to warn his peeps of the upcoming war with the Quarians). He gets away but there are other things to worry about for now. You get back onboard the Normandy.

While en route to visit with Liara, you can continue with working on your relationship with K/A or be pleasantly surprised to see them blending in with the crew. Ash could be sharing jarhead jargon with Jacob in the armory and Kaiden could be found chillin’ with Chakwas in the med bay. During this time Miranda could express some major concerns about her sister (if you told TIM to go fark a hat) this could lead to fighting some of Cerberus’s military division (and new weapons), Tali could be in disbelieve and maybe a little I told you so concerning Legion, you could talk dinosaurs with Grunt, poetry with Jack, sushi with Kasumi, etc. It’d be nice to see the crew and squad interacting with each other. Thane leaves life support and hangs with Garrus. That kind of stuff.

Once at the SB base, K/A is a little shocked to find out that Liara is the new Shadow Broker but the real reason for the visit is the Prothean beacon vision. Liara and Shep embrace eternity and it’s revealed that the data from beacon leads to another site that has the records of how the Protheans built the conduit. The Reapers must be trying to build another mass relay to get them from dark space. Luck is on our side because without the cipher, there’s no way for anybody else to decode the message as to this new sites whereabouts. Or is that maybe why Harbinger is so interested in Sheppard? Needs it. Wants it. Wants the cipher my precious.

Before leaving, you can arrange another dinner date with Liara (if she’s a LI), ask to her to do something to help Miranda’s sis (if applicable) and to help with any other things that will benefit your crew.

Next up, the location of the mass relay data.

Sheppard and company arrive at this only to be attacked by Yahg operated Geth ships as soon as they arrive at the relay. We get treated to some serious coolness as we play once again as Joker, this time at the helm of the Normandy. Once the battle is over, we land, fight some more Yahg on the ground and grab the intel. Shep can then choose to keep the data for Cerberus or hand it over to the Alliance or even the council.

Once back aboard the Normandy. It will be resolution time with K/A and you converse with your squaddies about the stuff that happened with respects to the mission or more personal matters... Relationships with your LI can be continued. The end of the DLC will happen with K/A leaving on good, bad or neutral terms.

I apologize for the rambling wall of text; I just pulled this out of my butt.

I support the notion of a VS dlc.
I like the idea that the council appoints them a new a human Spectre and they come after Shepard. All the K/A fanbois/girls could have their chance to continue their romance and the rest of us would get the chance to finally finish  the work we started on Virmire and kill the second of the two worst characters in ME.

aww but then we'd already know the story...

and someone has allot of time on their hands to do nothing but think about this stuff...

some DLC that i probably would like to have is a new hub world with new shops... with this hubworld they can move all of the current and future DLC armor and weapon packs to the shops there so that we dont start out as all powerful at the start of a brand new shep. the shops can also house one of each basic upgrade type: assault rifle, pistol, sniper rifle, shotgun, and smg damage, heavy weapons ammo, biotic and tech power, armor protection etc. then there can be some short missions like the krogan speaking poetry, the volus accusing the quarian of stealing his chit and so on...

would it be too much to ask that this "new" hub world be earth?

I think the next DLC should be about Kaiden/Ashley and should not be playable until the main story line is complete. Since both Kaiden and Ashley hate Cerberus, I think the DLC should be about Shepard proving his loyalty to Cerberus or to the Alliance, ending in a face to face meeting with either the Illusive Man (no holograms) sharing a drink with Shepard or with Admiral/Councilor Anderson promoting Shepard to the Rank of Captain.

At this point I'm starting not to care what the next DLC is. It's been a relatively long time since the folks at bioware have announced anything game related and I'm beginning to seriously loose interest. If the next DLC isn't announced soon then I'll be putting ME2 in a box in the basement with my other old game stuff. I'll hang onto it, but I'm about done playing it. Unless something new and compelling comes along that is...

A longer DLC, like LotSB, that takes place only after the suicide mission is what I'm hoping for. According to Anderson in Retribution, Shep has "gone off grid" following the defeat of the Collectors. I'd like to see why that is (before ME3, at least).

A bridging DLC tying up some loose ends ready for ME3.

Ash/Kaiden is an obvious choice.

Man how I would love to put a bullet into Kaiden.

TALI spoiler:

Whatever the next DLC is, it should just randomly add in the option to punch Tali in the face and break her mask open. Then you can tear the mask off to see what she looks like and spit in her face and laugh. Then she will whine about how you got her exiled from the fleet or ruined her stupid father's reputation, then you can launch her in to the nearest star.
