Setting grounds for ME3 is becoming more likely too now that they are progressing with the third part and its story.

I'd like the romance DLC especially if it contained ss-li's finally.

TALI spoiler:
Whatever the next DLC is, it should just randomly add in the option to punch Tali in the face and break her mask open. Then you can tear the mask off to see what she looks like and spit in her face and laugh. Then she will whine about how you got her exiled from the fleet or ruined her stupid father's reputation, then you can launch her in to the nearest star.
oh i so approve... do this bioware and i'll gladly pay $60 worth of microsoft points

After that, we may see a story DLC in January around the time the PS3 version of ME2 comes out. It's anyone's guess what the next story DLC will actually be about. LoTSB was the last one that we could predict because we had the comics for it.
They could go anywhere with the next story DLC at this point since they left it so open.

Aria and Wrex would be interesting.
unfortunately Wrex is dead in the "plain vanilla" playthrough (without an imported ME-1 char), so that is out

They could still do a wrex one, atleast for tuchanka. Even though I highly doubt it because of that reason, they could still replace wrex with his brother Wreav (spelling?) if the main plot revolved around Tuchanka and not the characters.achwas wrote...

I still think that they will most likely do an Ashley/Kaidan one though.

I hope they throw in another curve ball like Overlord. We didn't see that one coming at all.
I dunno, I think Overlord was a bit too much like SS2. Don't get me wrong, I like the DLC, but I felt it was a tad unoriginal.
Another emotional ending would be nice though. Maybe this time, we should be extremely compelled to pick the renegade option.

A tad unoriginal, maybe. But you cannot say we were expecting a Geth-human maniac AI DLC complete with the Hammerhead.
We were fully expecting LotSB to come out as the next DLC at the time BioWare announced Overlord.
I hope they give us something unique next, too. Like a plan to stop vorcha terrorists from poisoning the oceans of Kahje to prevent the extinction of the hanar, for example.

That's actually a cute idea. Not the "Poisoning of the Hanar"... but using the Vorcha again/some more. But didn't we have "terrorist attack" as flavour of the month for the ME-1downloads ?
Some nice stuff that crossed my mind :
- TIM sends us out to discover more about the alien race that build the mass accelerator that took out the Reaper in the Thorne system... or "another Ghost Ship"... yeah, right, we didn't see that one coming, hmm ?
- Cerberus wants to find out who actually tried to sabotage the LAZARUS Project, and asks you to deal with it. Actually, the one mission I sorely missed in ME-2
- Political infighting and race-riots, with more sleeper agents formenting unrest and distrust on the Citadel, which might tie-in nicely with a "united we stand, divided we fall" theme for ME-3
- some counter-mercenary ( Eclipse or Blue Sun)or counter batarian slaver/pirate work, again tying in with Reaper subversion attempts. Who says the Reapers cannot hire mercs or scum to destabilize the Alliance ?
- anything with "Blasto, Hanar Spectre"^^

Something involving Aria would also be nice.
I wrote a fan fiction involving her. Some Closure, some gratitude, and some wicked torture.
It's all in my sig.

(I still hate the friggin Hammerhead though. Not the fault of the machine itself, I'm just really useless at operating it as compared to the Mako)

I'd like them to add a way for us to do some of the really fun things more than once.
If any of you have played Assasins Creed 2, one of the most enjoyable parts of the game is using Da Vinci's flying contraption to enter the Venetian palace. Unfortunately, this was a one time deal and could never be repeated after the first successful attempt.
I feel the same about the Hammerhead and, to an extent, the car flying scene in LOTSB. These are two things I enjoy doing in the game, and I would like the ability to use the Hammerhead whenever I want, not just until I've exhausted the hammherhead DLC and Overlord DLC.
This concept could work well with a Wrex/Wreav DLC. Imagine having the ability to drive around on Tuchanka as often as you want in the Hammerhead, Imagine driving from settlement to settlement through ruined cities with your awesome tank. Wouldn't that be cool?

It would work, but I want to drive a tomkah, with the Urdnot Mechanic side-seat driving:
[Bump] "Hey watch that manifold!"
[Screeeeech] "I don't have enough ryncol to repair something like that!"
[BANG!] "Anybody got a quarian that no one's using?" [Tail loads her gun in response]

I'd rather they not announce it until they have something to show for it. I don't think another LOTSB craze would be good. (announced Jul 6, released Sept 7)
next dlc is something small, i dont know why there hasn't been an announcement yet or why it hasn't been released yet... i'm checking major nelson every week to check on updates. who knows maybe they just need a month to regroup after something as big as LOTSB, doubt it but it's a possibility. but for one of the two dollar packs such as a weapons/armor or alt appearance pack how long will it take to make one of those...
weapon:
make a weapon model, texture, an uncompressing animation, a new projectile model and fireing audio if it's needed then program the stats then test it so it's balanced (this will probably take the majority of the time)
armor:
armor model, color map for the different textures and the like, then program stats then test it so it's balanced (again, testing will take the majority of the time)
alt appearance/ casual clothes for shep:
model and texture
how long does it take to make any of these? with or without the wait time for microsoft to approve of it for xbox live
