Running into Ashley/Kaidan again and helping her/him on their classified mission, thus restoring the trust between you and her/him.

They already DID their classified mission, Horizion, to check on Cerberus but they found Shepard ALIVE and working for Cerberus (bad reunion, blah, blah etc).
Maybe a DLC where Anderson/Alliance ORDERS them to rejoin Shepard (to prove that Shepard is not a traitor nor being manipulated by Cerberus, especially IF Shepard blows up the Collector Base/Reaper Factory).
Maybe rekindle his/her ME1 LI (or introduce a human s/s if celibate) with a noncheating ME2 Shepard, as an OPTION. If you don't want then DON'T BUY IT! Nobody is forcing anyone to BUY something (DLC or game) that they do NOT want.

If i ever wanted a DLC, i would ask for a new planet with a massive Human colony (maybe alliance controlled) which is about omega size but bigger and more beautiful... wth many small missions and assignments, new people to meet and talk to and a level cap increase to 40 being some little additions, some new alliance armour and weaponry, and a DLC main story involving more about the reapers immenent attack on the galaxy...

Im not entirely sure what would work for the story behind it however as thats BioWare's job, but you can see what i where its heading, trouble is its hard to follow up on such an odd story bridge because you don't know where they plan on going in Mass Effect 3, so only BioWare will know what will work and what wont :)
5 new achievements and 800 points would be my guess on the plan for most DLC after seeing Liara, however i don't know how big the Liara content will be

a free dlc

not happening, stop being greedy.

then y even advertise the cerberus network.... if you arent going to support it then y have it. They may as well just called it a rip off cause it costs u $15(not new) to get it for really average dlc

I don't even think its average,

they were only tiny chunks, each one started as a mission each, the Zaeed mission was fun and teamate addition was cool although he cant be properly talked to and hes obvios as DLC when you see him in the Normandy although its cool he can take part in the main story and does talk then, Normandy crash site was boring if im honest but its nice to see the old bird, even if she is wrecked... then the the free Hammerhead DLC was longer but almost a teaser and a test to see if people responded to it well so they could bring it in to mass effect 2 DLC and 3, then the other two were a gun (that arc thingy) and some armour... although its better than nothing i still see it as a rather weak list considering EA make it such a promotional thing...

Doesn't matter though i was always buying it new anyway :)

Firewalker was practically an open beta disguised as DLC. Too bad Bioware didn't learn anything of it.

Not even a beta, really. More like what they managed to salvage after having to cut it during development.  It's almost a tech demo, the way it's so stripped down.  Fair amount of dialogue was cut from it too.

you guys remember the scene which every squad members suddenly leave to somewhere including Shepard. then Collectors attack Normandy, kidnap all crew members? I want to know what they do after leaving from Normandy. why all of squad members should leave at that moment. of course, we don't know that collectors will attack after that. if bioware explains the reason or will have time to make small DLC, I will be appreciate for doing that. don't you really want know why? I am very curious. it could be nothing or very important. please, no joke. what do you think?

anyway, there will be few more story based DLC coming until ME 3. I am sure. Bioware has really been pulled all of their best for ME 2. if you take a look at each moment or side mission or in the middle between important mission, you feel something has to be done more. for example, in horizon, what about Ashy, or Keiden future? they won't ever come back to Shepard at all or it is just stupid Alliance mistake?

what about Tali or Grunt future? if Tali didn't exile, she could be recommend for admiral in migrant fleet after all. or Grunt could get a call for help from Urdot wrex whoever from Tuchanka. or they want Grunt to settle down there forever for their peace.

Good point. This plot hole has left many people troubled - perhaps this is why. DLC to explain the crew leaving the Normandy and for what purpose would answer a lot of questions...
On another note what about a mission surrounding the information recovered in kasumi's graybox - it hinted at possible alliance corruption or culpability with some sort of serious event. I wonder?

i think future DLC will involve ME1 characters primarily because of the risk of including ME2 characters in stories that not every player would get to play if that specific character was killed off during the Suicide mission.

One final thought may be DLC related to the forthcoming comic about TIM. Mirroring how LotSB is a sequel to the previous comic book series

Maybe a virtual arena where we can replay past missions? (I know for a fact many others before me have asked/mentioned for something like this. I figure I toss this onto the thread.)

This would break the storytelling like nothing else. I don't see this happening.

They always said the reason Ash/Kaidan and Liara couldn't join you in ME2 was so they would be guaranteed to be in the ME3. I take them at their word,

The Lair of the Shadowbroker DLC will take care of Liara, so I hope the next one will take care of Ash/Kaidan. Resolving the romance if you want to keep it or dissolve it if you don't, or just helping a friend if you didn't romance them. Involved story, lots of dialogue.

Id just be so much of a giant middle finger to the Ashley/Kaidan fans if the liara fans get their dlc, and they don't, that I can't see them not doing A/K dlc. And if you aren't a A/K fan, then having the alliance dlc will also give you a chance to actually break things off with them for good if you decided on one of the ME2 LI's instead..

I'd like to see where the decisions you made with the geth in legions loyality mission goes.
They say M.E 3 will deal with that, but who knows....seems like M.E 3 has a lot of loose ends to tie up, the main focal point will be the reaper invasion.

I guess I'm annoyed that as soon as you get legion, you must do his mission immediately ((or risk losing your crew after the collectors attack))...and that's it... on to the suicide mission, you don't get to try him out on any other missions apart from the geth and the suicide. It would be nice to have an epilogue if he survives.... where you can prehaps help legion escape a cerburus facility, after all , they have an active bounty on him.....

Or maybe Legion goes bad after the mission and takes control of the normandy, hacking into EDI and turning ship defences against the crew .... could happen, he might only have been along for the ride ....

Something with legion that isn't "geth as enemy" dependant...... I prefer the helping him escape as you'd be able to use him at least....but if they want to turn him into a bad guy who knows... he was a bit too johnny come lately to really have a serious impact on the game, which is a shame.

All that said, I absolutely loved project overlord ((aside from the damn hammer head bits...really don't want any vechicles in ME3... hated the damn six wheeler, hate the hammer head...just don't need them ,  use the shuttle which can FLY anyhow , just like every other combat drop.....what? you can't use the shuttle you have to use some silly frog jumper????   also hate the silly mini games like hacking and bypass...make them optional but not esential to game progression ....gesh...))

An Ashley/Kaidan dlc in all likelihood, which would be fine by me. However, I'd really be interested in a dlc that explores some kind of lost civilization like the Arthenn, or the Zeioph. There's a huge potential to explore the historical background of the mass effect universe.

That's exactly how I view the Firewalker. It's very much like a tech demo, and does have an experimental feeling to it.

What about a Fate of the Krogan DLC. I know Wrex isn't a definite. Not a rehash of the Virmire situation. But many factors could play into it. Whether its with Wreav or Wrex. Wrex's loyalty could come into play. It could be like if Wrex is alive he could understand your decision on what to do with the Genophage data. Whether Mordin destroyed the data could come into play too. Wreav would be furious, Wrex would be understanding, and understandably upset. Mordin doesn't have to be there. I know you don't have to do his loyalty mission, but it could still come into play. You could have to fight your way off of Tuchanka if Wreav wants to kill you for destroying it, losing a potential ally against the reapers, or Wrex could ask for another modification to increase Krogan fertility by a margin, but Wreav could come in and contest Wrex's legitimacy as the future leader of the Krogan. Idk what they could do. I don't think of myself as a Wrex fanboy, but he did get a Squadmate of the Year Award or something, so I'm not the only fan. Sure he's kind of the cliche BMF but he's got depth and potential as a rational, intelligent Krogan, who's also a powerful warrior. For those who don't have Wrex, it would be less complex. Kind of like talking to Wreav on Tuchanka. It's so much more interesting with Wrex. So you could throw in some extra stuff, like an Uvenk armor for Grunt, like a trophy. Maybe Wrex armor, the new one or the original red he wore. It's just an idea.

I remain entirely adamant that they will have some sort of DLC in the local cluster. It would be interesting to have some sort of mission on Earth, Jupiter's moons or Uranus.

well i do think a dlc with a ME1 teamate would be a good ideal and Liara in the upcoming dlc is a good ideal so i really think the next should be ashley/kaiden dlc even tho they had a mission on horizon but we only had like 5 mins with them and all
