*A DLC which involves the virmire survivor, maybe tied to investigating the Reapers or whatever the Alliance has been doing all this time
*Curing Thane's disease, maybe you go to the hanar homeworld or the old drell world in order to do so. Maybe we can finally talk to some hanar. Also Thane would have extra lines of course but he doesn't have to be there, shep can be just helping the drell in general (maybe recruiting them against the reapers)
*Solving the batarian/ human situation, maybe involving visiting the batarian homeworld and appealing to the public. Maybe you would bump into balak along the way, aswell as visiting a potential batarian squad member for ME3. Would probably involve another terrorist attack where you can somehow address the leaders of the batarians and work towards some kind of peace agreement that would forshadow ME3, or maybe just declare war on them. We could use their help for the Reapers aswell.
4/ A mission involving the quarians and the geth, maybe Tali and Legion would have extra lines and the end of the mission would forshadow war or peace between the two races.
Basically any DLC that would tie up the losse ends left by ME1 and 2 while preparing us for ME3, expecially considering that ME 3 will be already involving alot (the fate of the Rachni, Krogan, etc.) DLC that would introduce plot points such as whatever is going to get the Reapers from darkspace to our galaxy would be cool aswell. Also would be cool if more hanar/ elcor/ drell/ volus were involved.

Tali funeral DLC.shephard gave her a job onboard the normany... she should work as engineer, science officer, personal assistant, medical officer, or yeoman or something to remain safe onboard the SR3... some stupid goat should have been smart enough to keep their annoying bull**** to themselves or classified... it's as annoying as hearing a pointless justin beiber song...
:unsure:i'm starting to care less about this stupid ****. **** LI's in M E... why not date another crew member and **** (and STFU'ing at that)?
Maybe it's just me but this post looks like random gibberish.

a free dlc
not happening, stop being greedy.
Should've bought the game new. I didn't pay a dime for the Cerberus Network so I'm not disappointed. I don't know why you would buy this game used anyway.

Hmm. Well, Bioware's other current franchise, Dragon Age: Origins featured 7 big DLC packs (Shale, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana's Song, Golems of Amgarrak, and the final DLC yet to be released, Witch Hunt).
That being said, I suspect Mass Effect 2 will follow a similar pattern. Thus far, we've had 5 big DLC packs (Zaeed, Firewalker Pack, Kasumi, Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker). My guess? We'll get two more:
A ME Squadmate Prequel DLC, perhaps Garrus' time on Omega or Legion's time tracking Shepard
Another ME3 Bridge DLC, featuring the other ME1 unkillable squadmate, the Virmire Survivor
Seeing that the Dragon Age series is adopting a lot of Mass Effect's ideals, I'd bet that the two franchises are blending their target audiences, and thus will follow similar development patterns.
I wouldn't consider Zaeed and Firewalker to be big DLC packs.

An Ashley/Kaidan dlc in all likelihood, which would be fine by me. However, I'd really be interested in a dlc that explores some kind of lost civilization like the Arthenn, or the Zeioph. There's a huge potential to explore the historical background of the mass effect universe.
That would be really cool.

If the next DLC does pertain to Cerberus, it at least better take into account that I basically told the Illusive Man to go **** himself.

Unfortunately, if the pattern holds out, any new DLC will be playable before and after the suicide mission, so I wouldn't expect that sort of thing.
How do Bioware expect to any kind of realistic "bridging" of ME2 and 3 and all of their "bridging" DLC has to be able to take place during ME2?

On a serious note, I rather see the next DLC deal with other non-romance issues. I have no ideas though :-p

Two interesting ideas would be putting an end to the Geth/Quarian conflict or curing the Genophage
nah this should happen in ME3 next DLC should be squad pack 2 (or teminus dlc) and then it should be kaiden/ashley DLC and then they can add some sweet overlord lookalike DLC. should not get eny more weapons we have enough of those

How about main plot DLC? I want more reaper story, there wasn't enough in the game. Maybe a (human) colony that has unearthed something ancient protean or pre-protean tech? I want more SciFi, less space drama....
