1) The Council hears about the death of Tela Vasir, and it's garbled and thinks you did go rogue. Sends a Spectre to kill you. This spectre could be a new human Spectre (Kaidan/Ash), which would make it become their LotSB. Or not. But I like this idea. Perhaps during this, you discover the Council isn't quite so stupid as they appear in ME2, and they simply weren't telling you of their research and preparation they were doing because you worked for Cerberus at the time. Remember, apparently Mordin was hired by SOMEONE to research Indoctrination, as per LotSB.
2) A Virmire Survivor DLC, if not merged with #1.
3) A DLC where Captain/Councilor Anderson (or Udina, ugh) is being targeted by an Assassin. You have to stop them. Turns out to be funded by the rest of the Council to remove a squeaky wheel (if they decide to make the Council actively evil or indoctrinated. I find their behavior odd at times even without the stupidity).
4) An Alliance/Cerberus Strikes DLC. Either the Alliance if you chose the Renegade options and continue to work with Cerberus, or a Cerberus strike team if you told the Elusive Man to go F* himself. They're trying to capture you or kill you.

Question would then be why have Saren try to kill the council if they were so easy to indoctrinate. Would be a bit silly. I think it is a combination of stupidity and lack of unity/information sharing between races. They can't admit what they know so they just act like obstructionist jerks. At least that is what I hope. It's a bit cheap just to say "they were brainwashed, you have to kill them!" They used that trope enough in ME1 that I hope it isn't a main plot point.

And, of course, the Council might not have been indoctrinated by then.

At first I was totally against the idea of a Ashley/Kaiden DLC as I hate those 2 boring losers with a fiery passion then it hit me. The way things end when you run into them in ME2 how about an option in this DLC to tell THEM to **** off? Or even better just outright kill them?
Sorry to all the Kaiden/Ashley fans but I find paint drying more interesting than these 2 combined.
I totally agree with that. i want to murder them both.
I do too. Virmire was sad not because I had to sacrifice one of them. It was sad because I couldn't blow them both up and obtain a two-for one special.

Saren wasn't out to kill the Council. He was out to get control of the Council chamber itself. The Destiny Ascension was just part of the fight.

Yet if we go with a "the Council is now indoctrinated" plot that means it only took about two years for the Council to fall under Reaper control. Imagine how quick they could have been indoctrinated if they weren't afraid of attack/tightened security. If Saren was mostly just doing Recon to find out what the Conduit was then there was no reason to attack the Citadel after he found out it was just a tiny mass effect relay. Just wait a year or so to indoctrinate the Council and boom Reaper invasion/everyone dies. I see the Reapers more as playing the long game then doing something as stupid as attempting to kill the leaders if they are easily controllable. Of course, it makes about as much sense as Cerberus suddenly wanting to be buddies with Shepard.

Just a thought, would make sense to get that out of the way before embarking on whatever they have planned for ME3.

Ignoring the 'I don't like Character X so want to kill them/have their funeral/etc in the DLC' silliness, what I'd like to see is:
1) The Council hears about the death of Tela Vasir, and it's garbled and thinks you did go rogue. Sends a Spectre to kill you. This spectre could be a new human Spectre (Kaidan/Ash), which would make it become their LotSB. Or not. But I like this idea. (2) Seems most plausible, followed by (4). (3) seems highly unlikely because of reasons already given, and I can't envisage (1) due of the fact it would only take Liara forwarding Vasir's orders from the SB to make the Council see reality. I think we're going to see (2) as one of the upcoming DLCs without a doubt.

For a minor dc I'd like to see a helmet or armour set for both ME2 and DAO.

> A reconissance op beyond the veil to investigate the Geth. Possibly invloving Councilor Anderson and Legion.
> A insurgency/counterinsurgency campaign in Batarian space backing either Rebel Batarian Allaince sypmathizers/ or Loyalist Batarian abolistionists.
> A newly discovered star system teeming with Prothean ruins. Dealing with the different factions that wish to lay claim to the system and figuring out why it wasn't wiped out by the Reapers and more importantly why it hasn't been inhabited since well before when the Reapers began to destory the Protheans.
> Renewed Rachni contact. Possibly involving an ongoing conflict between Pirates and and an Asari settlement the Rachni Queen has taken under her wing.
> Or maybe a combination of all the previous with the overarching goal recruiting Allies and gathering resources for the upcoming Reaper conflict. Though that might be difficult to do, seeing as that could prove too integral to the plot to be DLC.
Perhaps I'm being greedy, or I'm looking for ME to be more like DA, but seeing as we'll likely be waiting almost 2 years for ME3, and Dragon Age got an expansion, I can't help but hope we get an additional campaign for ME2 that is squarely after the Sucide mission.

I’ve been playing Mass Effect 2 since the release, and I have to admit how much I love Bioware’s methods of character development and exposition they put into the games.
One key point I’ve particularly enjoyed in Mass Effect 2 is the depth one can go into regarding the romance you can have with your companions. Thanks to this, you actually CARE about the characters in this game and even fall in love with them as it is so well written and the characterisation is brilliant.
This is simply a request for potential future DLC towards Bioware, and from my understanding, Bioware reads these suggestions on the forums and takes them to heart. My request is, would there be a chance to release something that could possibly advance our relationships/romances with the characters even further? Even something as cliché as “Take Tali to the fare” for an example.
One of the main reasons I play the Mass Effect Series is the unparalleled story and how the characters in this game have managed to evoke genuine emotions from me, and I am more than certain based off other requests I’ve read on here, I’m not the only one.
So in short, can you bring something out to further our experiences with these characters on a more relaxed level? Assuming you’d play this after you’ve done the suicide mission, you’d probably have time to kick back and relax anyway, and so where’d be the harm in doing something fun?
Thanks to everyone for reading my pattering away to see an idea for an ME2 DLC to get made.

So, I guess I'll continue on here.
Well, the next story DLC I want to see is one about the Virmire Survivor (for me that would be Ashley).
The aforementioned Krogan Weapons DLC was inspired by the fact the weapons are not scaled correctly to Grunt, he looks like he's holding toys.
So, I suggested that they design a weapons pack based on Krogan weapons, that any character with the appropriate skill can use, but primarily intended for Grunt.
They should cover all the weapons (Assault Rifle, Submachine gun, Shotgun (wonder what that would be like, a variation of the Claymore perhaps?), Sniper Rifle, Heavy Pistol).
I'm imagining a Krogan Heavy Weapon being one that launches a firebomb that sets the ground on fire and burns for some time after detonation.
But it's the Krogan Assault Rifle I really want, to give Grunt a "signature weapon", so to speak.
I don't have access to the Revenant (chose Widow sniper rifle instead) and I don't like the performance of the Mattock, so those weapons are ruled out as replacements for his current AR.
Another thing I would like to see is a Pinnacle Station ME2, with a place to test battle strategies against various enemies, preferably with a heavy weapon ammo and medigel dispenser.
This idea was inspired because ME2 is an "open game", meaning you can play again at any time after endgame, but aside from missions, there's nowhere you can go just to fight enemies for the fun of it.

What should the next DLC be about in mass effect 2? In my opinion I say it should be about the Virmire Survivor Kaiden/Ashley or a Alliance/Cerberus alligent mission. any other opinions?
i would like to see that too

Or perhaps they could have Kaiden/Ashley become a Spectre, and they have a tough time coming to terms with it, but Shepherd gets captured and they have to save him/her? That would be interesting - especially if they could team up with Anderson or something.
