What plot twists do you think would be plain old bad? Go crazy...

Heres mine: The Darkspawn are protheans before the Reaper took them and DA takes place 50,000 before Mass Effect.

Bad plot-twist? hm.....I don't know. For me it's not much about the twists themselves, but how they are delivered.....

Yes someone had to tell tales of grey wardens in bed to morrigan...especially Garahel.Only makes sense that Flemeth would most likely have the most experience with such things.

THey will twist it around and make it your mother.
Then you find out she dies in captivity.
THEN beth gets pissed off and storms off on her own....
THEN gets kidnapped after losing a fight.
THEN you chase her down in every country.

The plot twist is that Hawke is actually the Grey Warden. The Grey Warden went on a journey into unknown territory after stopping the Fifth Blight and found a time machine along the way. Also, one of your companions is an Exile that used to be a Grey Warden as well. Throughout the game, you will have nightmares that retell your Warden's story.

Personally, I doubt it. It's supposed to be about Hawke's "rise to power" and I can't see him/her running around in search for his/her sister and going like "since I'm already here and doing stuff, why not rise to power and become champion while I'm at it"

I think the story will be better than that....

Your sister is a wild uncontrolable thing that goes off and joins a merc band.

Your mother is worried and asks you to get her back.

She is gone.

You then choose to get help tracking her down from a roguish bard or from a warrior guard.

Bethany is possesed by flemeth and is used as insurance to keep hawke under her control.
