Hey guys, I'm rolling an anti-paladin (custom kit) and I was just wondering about enemies that require +X to hit. Thing is, I want my boy to dual-wield scimitars, which means he'll be relying on Belm and Rashad's Talon until I can kill Drizzt or win the Spectral Brand. I know that Kangaxx, the Watcher's Keep demi-lich, and Demogorgon require +4 or higher; and that greater mummies require +3. I wanted to know what other major enemies require +3 or higher to hit?

Drizzt's +5 scimitar isn't usable by evil characters, is it? (I usually don't bother killing him in BG2 so I'm not sure about its status there, but in BG1 it's not usable by non-good characters.)

IIRC, the Demon Lord (summoned by Matron Mother Ardulace) has some weird weapon requirements (barring fixpacks). Mel also requires +4, but not sure if there are others (aside from the ones already mentioned by you or me)

Iron Golems, Adamantite Golems, any mage with Improved Mantle on. I imagine there are more, but those are the first 3 that come to mind.

Oh, and don't forget Clay golems are immune to slashing and piercing weapons.  Skeleton Warriors, certain types of imps, and perhaps other critters as well, are mildly to highly resistant to non-crushing weapons.

Can't all golems be hit with +3? It's just that they require blunt weapons (of the relevant enchantment).

Just looked them up and the Defender (the one that grants +2 AC) demands a good alignment, so that's out. Means I'll have to go to the Keep early and win Spectral Brand, or make do with Usuno's Blade.

And yeah, a +3 blunt weapon will handle all the golems in the game without issue. I plan to take a blunt weapon path as well, most likely flails or hammers.
