Morrigan was like: Disagree with me and i hate u! Be a good fellow and i hate u too!
Leliane was like: Make fun of me and ze Maker and i hate u! Be a bad fellow andi hate u too!
I want i character that decides on the problem at hand than on some "overall default" personality. (Remember Morrigan disapproving if u saved the girl form being possed by a demon as u recruited shale? Tis was a bit to much "stereotypical evil" in my opinion. And even a tad out of character considering shes shocked as hell as she finds out shes apparently about to become the next host for Flemeth).
I also want to explain my Choices to the Character i come to care about. Tis what a romance should be a tad more about. If i care for my LI i want to show that, and not only with a kiss, or listening to their story. I want to explain to them some stuff i did if they disagreed with me, simply because i CARE about their opinion. Tis the essence of every relationship, or i am wrong here?

Uhm....hm. I thought Bioware did a great job with the male-oriented LIs in Origins. Keep on doing what you're doing, dev team.

Yes both female romances in origins were very black and white in terms of good and evil, I'd personally like if the pirate chick we saw in the trailer was like isabella with a bit less y'know promescuity, Didn't seem to have one straight morale path

You mean they have opinions and don't simply bend to your will?

A lovely Qunari woman. She can be a martial artist or some kind of warrior. Nice chest, athletic build, charming. hot as hell and with plenty of horn to let us get a grip. I imagine it would be more comfortable and less painful than the traditional method of using the arms/ponytail.
Ah yes "handlebars" THE MAN THREAD loves this idea would also be itnresting considering we haven't seen female quanari yet and they seem to be a majior antagonist in DA2

Half the game is spent in combat, which is typically a dire situation; I'd want a capable-minded, loyal warrior with me, not a ****ty witch or a delusional priss, neither ever satisfied with my decisions as leader due to hypocritical moral codes.
Edit: And don't have her giggle when I click on her portrait. No real person giggles when issued an order, just your obviously fictional, chariactured female companions.

Tis was not the point of my post.
The point was that this two views are a tad extrem and stereotypical.
Please dont assume things and make it up as if i said it this way. Read what i wrote, thank you.

I'd like a tall, hunky Templar who feels guilty about both his love for men and love for mages that I can seduce. *sigh*

Like a less creepy Cullen! Can he be romanceable by the wimmins also? I like this idea.
Oh right, busty babes. Uh, I guess you could make this templar a lady and romance her with a male mage?

Yeah, I found the eyelash comment rather creepy too. The writers apparently found it that way since they even gave us a dialogue option for it. Personally, first time a character of mine romanced Leliana to that point, I was fully considering "going Frodo" and having my warden take off for the arch demon alone in the middle of the night.
As far as the perfect female romance in a game like DA is concerned...I would have to hope for a character that was intellegent, quirky, and attractive in a unique way (not a supermodel). And that's a very broad scope, I found both Morrigan and Leliana to be interesting characters, stalker comments and witches with mommy issues aside.

What I noticed is that most of the people in your party has some hypocritical moral code that allows them to abandon the world to the darkspawn if they don't get their way.
It's just more jarring with the women (and alistair, but he is practically a woman anyways.)
