I'm happy to report that Legacy of White Plume Mountain is now released on the vault.

Thanks to all the custom content creators whose work I've tried to also showcae in this project, and to the playtesters for perserverance, feedback and advice.

And to those who've stuck with the NWN2 community, I really hope you enjoy my little sandbox in Faerun.

Do we have to use a character creator, or does the game auto-level me to 7?

You will be autolevelled. You may need to use the debug tool to give you starting gold for each new PC beyond the first as I couldn't iron out that part of the script no matter what I tried

Congratulations, good luck with the release.

A release party is in order, do you think? I'll have a can of beer here in Dorset' heck I was going to have one any way.

I'm having a problem downloading WPM5 and WPM6. They're just 1KB and rar complains about them.

Hip Hip Huzzah!

Hip Hip Huzzah!

Hip Hip HUZZAH!

This is a great module. I didn't finish it in playtesting, but it's pure awesome all the way around as far as I am concerned. Very old school feel and lots and LOTS of fun encounters.

@NTB - yeah just had notice fro mwhere I was hosting the files that the account is suspended for too much traffic! I'm trying to see that as a good thing!

Am working on alternative hosting ASAP

Congrats on your release, it looks excellent.

P.S. Where did you get the chessboard, btw? Was it an RWS tileset?

Put it on the vault. Contact beyond the pale and get the FTP info so you can upload files larger than 25MB

What about dropbox.com?

Dropbox, while I love it, might not have the necessary storage capacity without having to pay for a premium account. I know it gives you a gig of free space, but as a regular user of Dropbox, I can honestly say that a gig gets used up pretty fast. Especially if you have more than one thing you're doing with it or you have zealous sharers to your account. Why, even a simple set of L3DT maps can come close to sizzling your capacity in a single event. :)

I'd had troubles having a secure enough connection to upload all the files intact/uncorrupted to the Vault. SO I had been using dropbox - and it was dropbox that emailed to say I'd had too much traffic :/

I've managed today to wrangle things from work with a better connection so that all files are currently sitting on the Vault's ftp site waiting for BTP to link them in for me. Anyone with vault ftp login details could in theory copy them down from there...

After a slight damp squib of a launch, I'd like to reignite everyone's engines and say all files are now on the vault and ready for download!

Isn't there supposed to be a tlk, especially if using Kaedrin's.

No, not if the mod is only making itself Kaedrin compatible and does not have its own custom tlk.

Yes, just use the tlk that Kaedrin provides.

For some reason, despite having Kaedrin's stuff in the override, the hak version of some files was dominating, so the modified hak I provide just iincludes an expanded spells.2da to make it Kaedrin compatible.

Good job. Is this campaign a literal high fi replication of the said table top modules or is there some Wyrinized content as well?

The core plot is pretty fair 3.5e version of the original White Plume Mountain, Return to White plume mountain, and Ex Keraptis ****** Amore. Other than tweaking for the new rules and level balance, it's pretty hi-fi.

Outside of the main plot, the sandbox overland map is a mixture of Wyrimagination and ideas cobbled from back issues of Dungeon magazine

It'll be awhile until I can download all the files. I assume you knew about Elminster Ecologies Appendix II: The High Moors The Serpent Hills and White Plume Mountain Revised, both downloadable from WOTC, though in different sections? The Ecologies has three maps of the High Moor (one smaller one of Serpent Hills), tables for rolling random monsters, flora and fauna, etc. I would guess that's why you chose it?

Unfortunately for me, my NWN2 Idea Contest winner takes place in the same area. But at least I got a signed copy of the Deluxe Game.

Congrats on getting it completed, BTW.

Thanks - yeah I referenced the Elminster Ecologies supplements in putting this together, and the sections on Hammer Hall, DUngeon of the Hark, and Halls fo the Hammer in particular.  My main reason for choosing the areas is actually more to do with where the map from the original WPM fits into Faerun (http://picasaweb.goo...feat=directlink); a mountainous region next to a swamp.
A couple of idreas I had from the ecologies didn't make it in - e.g. barbarian tribes infiltrated by yuan-ti

Hak is meant to trump override.
