I did the tutorial as it said and saved and then posted to local. My morph is there but it isnt not available for my male dwarf in game, even after i reloaded the toolset.

According to this tutorial there should be a .MOR file, as it says repeatedly, all the post local did was create a .MOP. I tried renaming this mop to a mor and its still not available. How can I get this morph into the available list?

Morph files
There are actually two files for every morph.

  • .mrh - This is the source file for the morph data and can be saved anywhere and loaded from anywhere.
  • .mor - This is the generated/processed binarized gff file that
the game uses. You can change these in the toolset but it's not
    recommended.
To get the *.mor file you need to use the "export" command.

posting to local will create a .mor file. this file is placed at this location: "your documents/bioware/dragon age/addins/your_module_name/core/override/toolsetexport"

What is your Export .mop File setting under tab 14 (Export Settings) of the object inspector set to?

I would tell you but I see no way to open an edited mrph file it keeps saying no editor or something. Do I not have to drag drop it somehow?

Can you create a new one just to see what it says?

Already did 3 times cuz it kept crashing. Im positive I read a way to drag drop it to edit in the wiki but its not working. I set it to TRUE if I recall, should it be false i guess so.

I'm not really sure what it "should" be set to but mine is set to false and morphs work fine for me.

It should be FALSE.

If set to TRUE, the morph file will be available as a preset morph during character creation and there is a special naming convention for that too.

If you want it for an NPC, the setting should be FALSE.
