It's true: bosoms are very important. As are legs, and nice butts as well. But it's more than the proverbial ******, legs and asses package. It's essential that a woman have heads. And arms. Torsos are crucial. Though it may be a bit weird to admit, I also like women to have hair and skin. I prefer my girlfriends to have the appropriate number of fingers, toes and eyes. I could never date a woman who didn't have a face or a mouth, along with teeth, lips and a tongue. Internal organs are a must; I'm just picky that way. The ability to consume food and speak languages are key to a long-lasting relationship.

I would like to see a strong warrior type female LI that is not out of bounds because the Hawke i intend to play is a female as well. The ideal woman is one who understands duty, honor, sacrifice, yet can temper the brutalities of her proffession with compassion when apropriate. I always liked Leliana as what i would call the perfect LI for any of my wardens male or female, she has all the above qualities but she also has an air of class probably from her exposure to ladies of Orlais.

I agree with all of that 100%.  It's definitely time for a great female warrior LI, I liked the Elf girl from Witch Hunt, she was pretty good, and her voice was just great.  Whoever it ends up being though, it might be too much to ask that she be as awesome as Leliana, because she was so incredibly awesome, but as close to that level of awesome as possible would be nice  .

the best example i can give for a romance i'd like to see is one along the lines of maxim and selan from lufia2: rise of the sinistrals.

Actually now that you mention Arianne (spelling) yes she was another good example of a strong but tempered female who did not feel it necessary to out macho the guys. I thought her banter with Dog was awesome she really was a notable character, a bit of attitude but one has to expect that from a dailish character, but not over done in a Velena, humans suck, kind of way. I would like to run across her in DA2 as a potential LI and party companion.
