I would like to see more dialogue options after the romance is complete. Maybe stuff like, "How was your day?"

Maybe once the PC is in a romance his partner could give him some quests. I would call these the Honey Do quests.

I like this. Some of these quest could be:

Honey, do the laundry.
Then you will have to find a well or a river. There you will get ambushed by bandits and darkspawn.

Honey, walk the Dog.
Then you will have to walk the dog, and while you do that, you will get ambushed by bandits and darkspawn.

Honey, do the dishes.
Then you will get ambushed by bandits and darkspawn.

Made my day.

Well, I´m over-exaggerating, but at leastit made my Morning :)

If you continue to ignore these quests your approval will continue to decline. Eventually the two of you will have to divy up your gear. Some of your companions will fade away, saying that things are awkward.

I don't need that much realism...

I agree that the relationship being more integral to the plot would be a big plus. A really big plus.

If I can't mention sexist things I can't tell you what I want.

How much child support would OGB require?

People seem to gravitate towards the tough girl stereotype (strong, agressive, dominating) or the waif stereotype (meek, shy)

Now, combat prowess aside (since all party memebers are useful, this is a moot point. Aries scored more kills than my PC)

Arie is a more extreeme example, being very shy and inexperienced..and a virgin at that (apprently). Morrigan is a (head)strong, determined and quite different. She takes what she want's, and her behavior is more....butch, so to speak off.

Now personally, I gravitate more towrads the shy and meek, "good girl" type. I never was attracted to "bad girls"..but Morrigan was OK.
As to why people gravitate in such ways? Dunno. I can only guess. Maybe because a shy and meek, shy girl fills some subconcious need for conquest? Maybe because one wants to feel needed, like a protector? Who know? Who cares?

Because can never be with the bad girl irl. lol
besides damaged goods vs bad girl

I want to see no romances. Computer game romances are generally pretty clunky, and the sex scenes are just downright odd (and more than a little creepy).

How would you change them to make them not feel clunky?

Personally, I didn't think the DA:O romances felt clunky at all. They just finished kind of abruptly.

Show the characters without underwear when they´re making love. That would be a huge improvement already.

Well, ok that would go a long way toward making the sex scenes less awkward for some. Still I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
I was talking about the relationship progression portion of that complaint though.

Not really possible due to the nature of the medium. The Uncanny Valley is especially acute when it comes to conveying emotion, even more so for romance/sex.
There's just something very slightly creepy about it.
What's clunky is going from gameplay mechanics i.e. combat and story/side plots and quests, all of which advance the game or the character in some way, to a romance simulation of sorts which advances nothing except the romance itself. It has no effect on gameplay or the main story, and has little benefit on plot (other than its own).

But other folks (myself included) find themselves thoroughly drawn in and engrossed in the story of the romance. This sounds like more or a personal limitation. Not that I think you shouldn't have it, or that you should ignore it.

I would like to see a character i think will be good to romance instead of the game just say "By the way your character like such and such" I was playing orgins and apparently my character liked the ginger girl, wtf i barely talk to her.

Yeah, nothing beats a tall statuesque mama who can't talk or nag, and on top of it all is no doubt into women, has large breasts and handle-bars.

Hahaha, a always like the mutes. ^_^ I was hoping for a female elven LI who doesn't like humans but is not blatantly rude when someone is being kind. Dalish?

A sexually agressive woman who is unashamed of her drive. Doesn't do it because she's manipulative or eeeeeevil, but does it for the simple reason that she wants to. Not a victim, not the product of an abusive home or any of that. Just a girl who knows what she likes and is proud of it.

Don't attempt to have children or get married, best way to avoid this...trust me on this one.

That should have a real Western Woman in these game.

Woman claims she loves the man only to find out she is marrying and having kids for child support and to live off the state since in this country if you live in a blue state you get free health care, money and food stamps

No.

I'd sooner romance Lady Loghain. I barely managed to avoid choking the fool during my first run.
