i Dont see how its in both your best interests. The mages, certaintly, with the wardens weakened by the dwarves attacks you can walk over them to victory. but in the wardens best interest? nope just dont see it.

The Wardens had outlasted their usefulness. It had been decided the moment the final Darkspawn had fallen to the ground. From that moment forward, the Warden's demands for tithes and troops were ignored. The Wardens attempted to take what was not freely given and the Dwarves struck back. On a cold night in the Deep Roads, the Warden's camp was bathed in blood as several platoons of Dwarven berserkers stormed in. Blood and gore covered the tents and gear the Wardens had piled everywhere. By the time it was finished, the Wardens were no more, and the Dwarves turned to the only remaining enemy.
