All fine and dandy. But the teams could still use tweaking. Some abilities are usueless, some commadners are useless. That's not good balance by any stretch of the immagination.

Yep, looks like it has become some sort of rule.EmperorOfTheBlack wrote...
Hmmm how come the winning team is always the one to get crushed?

Apparantly too long for you to read (not to mention it wasn't really theory...). The whole point was that there is not good balance, and that that is how it is supposed to be.
A sack of gold in hand... though the Crows worked for more than money, mouths must still be fed, and agendas funded. A sack of gold in hand... the mage had been clear about his target, though why he had wanted some poor transient elves dead, that was the real question. A sack of gold in hand... the Crows would find out the why, but all that was important right now was that the everyone sleeping in these glorified tents would be dead before the another concious thought crosses any of their minds.

Nah, I read it all. I just didn't want to quote it all..I hate walls of text.
And your'e still wrong. There is such a thing as good balance. I should know. I made more re-balance mods for various games than I can count (and all were highly rated).

Corrected, see below.
And thanks Victus, but I'll reserve the right to respond to people who disagree with me.
Anyway, it isn't really an argument. We both agree that the game isn't balanced. AClockworkMelon outright stated this last game, and he said perfect balance wasn't the point.

Next round...
Another contract from the Mages... What was going
on here. No information had been collected on this mysterious magister,
and the Crows were now unsure if he was even connected to the Circle.
Well, at least for now, as the Crows knew only too well, the best thing
to do when you are suspicious is act like you are not.
He
lowered his gaze from the forest... a difficult target indeed... if you
weren't a Crow. He knew that in a matter of hours he would be long
finished, enjoying himself at a high end bordello, if he could find one
in this godforsaken part of Thedas...
Staylost of the Crows assassinates The Dalish.
The Templars: 26
The Grey Wardens: 23
The Circle of Magi: 20
The Dwarves: 38
The Dalish Elves: 17 XX
- The Keeper: 3
The Antivan Crows: 24
The Blight: 19 X
Editted for Dobikuba's attack on the Blight.
And to the poster below, geez it takes a lot of work to keep me honest, huh? But I have to subtract life from every team because, as you pointed out, the rules do not say I can use a special power on a hero.

Maybe to try to be sneaky and give his crows a slight boost? lol
That would be in character, right?
But this is correct as far as I can tell:
The Templars: 26
The Grey Wardens: 23
The Circle of Magi: 20
The Dwarves: 38
The Dalish Elves: 17 XX
- The Keeper: 3
The Antivan Crows: 24
The Blight: 19 X
Gotta take off that life because there was no hero kill (the people who tried to ignore my move failed so I had to correct it). Only the Dalish and the Crows don't get a life taken away because it was the Dalish Hero and the Crows were at full life when the move occured.
