Oh it's definitely in character for the Antivan Crows, not denying that. The only reason I'm not participating in this war game is for that very reason, because of the large possibility of mistakes/miscommunication/misposts, or even posts that happened at the same time.

Edit: And looking over the previous posts, Staylost's hit-counters are actually correct, correcting his own mistake.

But the regular confusion is half of the fun:P

Shadow_Cake, who has acted more than once in a turn? Many people choose to wait until right before the next turn starts to post their move, that way they can attack twice in a relatively short period of time. As for the 3 hours thing, check the official clock at the beginning of the thread. I don't know exactly why we chose PST, but hey, it's as good as any other time zone.

Why are people acting twice in the same, 12-hour turn?

Leaderboard ATM

The Templars: 26
The Grey Wardens: 23
The Circle of Magi: 20
The Dwarves: 38
The Dalish Elves: 19 XX
The Keeper: Deceased
The Antivan Crows: 24
The Blight: 17 X

(The next turn will be in about three hours.)

???

I'm pretty sure this is incorrect.

I don't know anything about people acting twice in the same turn, but you appear to be reprimanding the game's creator.

The thing I know is incorrect is the part about when the next turn will be. It will be in about 8.5 hours.

Ahh.. Sorry, I misread the Random Event and Clock portion. I thought that each twelve hour turn started after the Random Event. My mistake.

Regarding my accusation of people posting more than once, I saw Staylost posting twice during what I thought was the same turn, but was not.

And to the Leaderboard, I left out Lathaon's since I had thought he had posted twice in the same turn. I'll edit it in a moment.

How about this?

Seeing the ruination caused by the vile Darkspawn, the peoples of Ferelden banded together to oppose the Blight. Yes, petty rivalries still continued, assassin's followed their gold, Templar's their Maker, but all across the land, former enemies found themselves facing a common foe. The largest army in four hundred years assembled to face the remaining Darkspawn when suddenly, for the first time in centuries, a High Dragon appeared. Roaring her fury, the Dragon decimated the lines of battle, tearing into the tighest formations, hunting down stragglers as they ran and burning fortifications to the ground. Casualites were high, but the Dragon was overcome at last. Her death signaled the renewed violence between the Darkspawn and the Army of Ferelden...

Whether you read the Italiized stuff isn't important, I just typed that stuff off cause I got bored.

Commander Idaho Halic led a Dwarven raid into a cave littered with the corpses of those he had come to pillage. Mages of the Circle of Magi were lifeless on the ground, some with carved blades still lodged within their hearts. Templars had paid this cave a visit recently, and now it was the Dwarves time.

"Wait for my signal," Idaho advised his allies as he lifted his hammer onto his back.

The Commander crept into the cave proceeding his brutish, naive allies, finding a bastion of the Magi deep within the dark abyss. The mages were resting, some were moaning in agony as they slept, most-likely from the wounds obtained from the battle seen at the cave's entrance. Only a flickering flame from the recently drenched firepat lit the scenery.

Idaho stood up and walked directly to the firepit letting his boots echo through the cave as he stepped. From where he was, Idaho could see clearly into each of the three tents which surrounded the fire. The first two tents he glanced within were empty, excluding some abruptly abandoned rations. The third, he could see small silhouettes crouched together in, embracing one another for the illusion of safety.

The Dwarf stared into the tent, long and hard, and the weakly people within it tried ever more to remain still. Idaho let out a reluctant sigh which shook his tired body, and as he turned away from the cowering families of the mages, a spark from the fleeting fire found its way onto his right cheek. At that moment, he remembered what these children and women would become or create, what they've already created. The villages those mages raided for their experiments and rituals, those scenes of anarchy, made the Blight themselves look jolly.

In a swift movement, Idaho turned towards the firepit and swung his archaic hammer onto the sweltering flame. A "clap" rang through the cave, shaking it's entirety.

"Attack!"

The Dwarves attack the Circle of Magi.
