ME1 - Wrex and Tali

Wrex was simply awesome; this big beligerant mountain of a character who was somehow always loveable and cuddly... it was like travelling the galaxy with a grumpy bear for a sidekick. Tali, while somewhat religated to the position of a talking codex entry, just didn't seem as forced on me as Liara was, and didn't get up my nose like Ashley did. I was interested in finding out more about her - Tali intrigued me.

ME2 - Wrex and Jack

Wrex was only there for a couple of minutes of conversation, but when he stormed over to shake my Shep's hand... I had a little tear in my eye. Seeing him again was like running into an old friend after years apart; as crazy as it sounds, it's how I felt. Goes to show that a videogame can touch you if it's done right. Jack was just the same thing; I saw this angry, damaged woman I wanted to just hug. And help. The game just didn't go deep enough with her, not enough dialogue, not enough time, but she was the only member of the crew I felt a real desire to go talk to all the time. Grunt, Garrus, Mordin, Legion, sure, I'd go talk to them for a chuckle or to learn something (like with Tali previously), but Jack was my magnet... always pulling me back.

I actually loathed all the females in ME1 that weren't femShep. I make a slight exception for Tali, but really, I didn't like any of them.



ME2: Just one? Aw man, the characters were done so much better in ME2 - at the expense of the overall story, but still.…

ME2 Male: Garrus. When he talked, it was like having a friend over. I always wanted to bring him a beer.

ME Female: Miranda. She tried so hard to be stuck up and unfriendly, but it was obvious that her hero-worship of Shepard was even worse than Tali's. She was the kind of girl who would wear Shepard's letter jacket to the forty-year high school reunion.
