Yes! Lanaya was amazing and wonderful.

I agree! She was interesting, sweet and a nice person:) character like her could be a mage or a dalish archer. She could also want to discover some ancient elven history and artifacts, that's why she would join Hawke in his/her journey. I would not like to see such a character being similar to Morrigan or Velanna however - using Hawke for own purposes, betraying or leaving him/her, although Morrigan was great, intelligent,original and so on - this time I think there'd be nice to have a male character like that.

Being offtopic, I felt it was a bit necssary to point out what the definition of genocide actually is, though I'm only talking about it lorewise as one elf/non-elf coupling is harmless.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in
whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.[1].
While a precise definition varies among genocide scholars, a legal definition is
found in the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention
and Punishment of the Crime of  Genocide (CPPCG). Article 2 of this
convention defines genocide as
"any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or
in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious
group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or
mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the
group conditions of life, calculated to bring about its physical

births within the group; [and] forcibly transferring children of the

Because of the influence of Joseph

Though as is written, definition varies among scholars. Would in my view be appropriate to show how for example the dalish react to such an coupling as they're the most radical group of elves we've seen. I'll back out of this topic now as i'll probably stick to human LI as Hawke is human.

Nah, they were fat. I remember the first time my friend saw the female dwarves he said they look exactly like this girl we knew who was also short and fat.

That's like saying dating someone from a foreign country is genocide because they could be having babies with someone from their own country. I still don't think dating an elf could be considered genocide.

Not all fat people have double chins, I know plenty of fat people who don't have a double chin. You're thinking of obese.
