Proof that the Reapers didn't create themselves or evolve into what they are now.

They have interiors with multiple floors on which you can actually walk. You see these stuff in both games.

/forums

What are your theories concerning this fact ?

the reapers are liars... the protheans are probably way older than them

If you played the game, why didn't you register it?

I thought all the walkways you traversed during the IFF mission were quite obviously fabricated by Cerberus' research team.

They were probally like the geth and became self-aware. The rest, well that's history.

I dunno, it looks like it was built in the first place imho.

Talking to Legion and listing to the Geth plans, you didn't feel reminded to another race?

I also guess it took the same path just thousands of years ago... maybe the reapers don't even want to be reminded of that...

Struck me as a different material, and not obviously part of the same structure.   Here's someone's video:

I've only watched the early part but it seems to confirm my hypothesis so far.

Compare the walkways in the video to whats in the distance, like the far walls and ceiling.

Mid-way thru: Cerberus voice announcement in doorways made out of same material.

Yeah, it was fabricated by the research team.  I'm sticking with that.

More than half way thru: There are *Cerberus logos* on the walkways.  Case closed.

Read it better:
The Idea to visit the unexplored corners of the galaxy and find not only irrefutable Evidence of, but and technology.

Evidence of the existence of Reapers. Final DLC the ME2.

You can walk on a whale's head. Is that proof it didn't evolve? No.

Thread over, everyone go home.

i was playing with a thought that the collectors can be protheans and they themselves created the reapers, and heck maybe they genetecly altered themselves

You can't tell...... but I'm giving you a classic thumbs-up right now.

Maybe later we could arrange a high-five-- have your people call my people to set it up.

The Collectors are Protheans. Play Mass Effect 2, talk to Mordin from time to time, during a certain mission (can't remember which one) you are pretty much told "OMG zey r Protheans!". The whole Mordin SInging thing is started when you talk to Mordin about how the Protheans were converted to Collectors and how he laments their loss of culture/personality.

Also the Protheans became the collectors after the Reapers "repurposed" them just like they did with the Keepers.

I still wonder how some people miss these things after having played both games. Sorry if I sound rude but unless someone just skips all convos it is almost nigh impossible to miss the info given...

If all of the walkways are constructed by Cerberus, then what was the chair Saren was sitting in on Sovereign's "bridge" in ME1?

I was talking about the reaper IFF in Mass Effect 2.  The walkways and passageways in that reaper are clearly purpose build by the Cerberus research team.

As far as that cutscene in ME1, I don't know.  I could only speculate.  He could have added it on his own for all we know.   /shrug.

All I know is that the Reaper IFF mission, one that was more or less deliberately designed to give us an up close look at a Reaper - didn't show anything of the kind.

ok, i have thought about this ALOT during my ME & ME2 playthroughs.

i operate under the theory that the first, original species to evolve to the point of galaxy-wide dominance are the reapers. lets call them the PRIME species, cause im ripped and it sounds good. they created the mass effect relays, and the citidel. as they strived for longer and longer life spans (as humans are starting to do) they intergrated more and more cybernetics into their bodies, just as they did with their slave race the collectors (common knowledge).
once they actually achieved "immortallity" through a mix of biological-tecnological perfection they decided to join their body/structures together to share resources/energy/travel/knowledge. they joined, forming semi-synthetic superstructures of "one body, many minds" similar in cohesion to the geth, plus flesh.
they then realised if they go comatose in deep space for, say, 50000 years at a time, new species evolve to the point where the PRIMEs could integrate their variations in tech and biology into them, therefore the supposed 'salvation through destruction'.

thats just my take, i hope im close cause i think it sounds f'n awesome. PLEASE COMMENT! and stand by for a decent novel when i get the time (yeah riiight)...!

Not to mention the Cerberus logo plastered everywhere there lol...Some people (such as the OP) are apparently so quick to jump to conclusions that they fail to actually stop and analyze the situation before stating a theory.  Im not saying it to be an ass really....It's just real simple to figure some of this stuff out if you just stop, breathe, look at the situation, and apply a little common sense to it.

the reapers were created out of thin air and magic according to bioware's plotholes. they're older than the universe itself.

thats what they say because the truth is quite obviously beyond us mortals. reapers would view humans as bacterial nutrients. would you bother with the details when telling your dinner how your day was...?

right. in fact your computer created itself too, and is older than you and i combined... not humans creating the computers or anything. the computer made us, and all of the universe.

the reapers are like god almighty and gandalf the wizard...

Depending on my current level of sanity, I just MAY....If anything talking to your dinner as you're eating it would certainly raise a few eyebrows.

@ WarLorD BoVaTRoN - Or they "borrowed" it as such is the way of many sci-fi universes.

Maybe they were created by the keepers (just pulling that from thin air as I have only played the two games)

ok dude, READ my original post first hey, your not making sense...
maybe do a playthrough of ME & ME2. and LISTEN to the dialogue, then read my post again. if you still dont agree, then your intitled to your opinion, its just a theory.
and another hit tip: god and gandalf dont appear in sheperd's squad, so they aren't my concern. they are both good literary creations though....

What in the world is the point of that? Making themselves slaves and then alerting the people they are going to reap with vigil. It does not make sense
