Oh yeah.  Particularly the first time I waited until later to do the Tower and the templars all had Holy Smite.  Poor Wynne and Morrigan...

(I would agree with Holy's #10... those suits of armor are terrible.)

2. The random encounter with the field of traps and the Emissary at the edge of the field. I swear, every game I seem to hit that encounter right out of Lothering when even my rogues can't disarm those traps yet. Gah!

1) During the Lost in Dreams part of the Broken Circle when you're just getting out of a fight with 4 demons and turn to the burning man form to open a door only to find yourself faced with 7 mages that all switch to Ice spells the minute the door is open while throwing the occasional Rock Fist to knock you on your arse so you cant get a heal poultice in.

9. I just said this a few pages ago, but the scene in the City Elf female origin where Soris breaks into your cell, the two guards turn to face him...and he slides you the sword. The two guards go "Oh, sod!". Then they die.

Alright I'm joking. It's actually Loghain's Landsmeet rant. Such passion, it gave me chills the first time I heard it. It was then that I decided that Loghain was pretty much my favourite character in Origins and was too awesome to die. (YMMV).
