Why does it have to be GFWL ? I wasn't aware that was the only digital distribution service on the PC.  They could have easily made this a steam game and I believe steam is based in America and it would have enabled the PC DLC to be released much closer to the Xbox DLC.

I know I don't have a problem with games being steam works based (hell I bought Mass Effect 2 via steam).  But then I guess Bioware didn't like the thought of anyone else taking a cut of the money when it came to the DLC.

Incorrect. Steam usually launches games and updates their site at 6pm GMT. If anything you would be waiting longer if distributed on Steam.

I mention GFWL as your pet hate seems to be Xbox360 owners getting the DLC first. To get the DLC at the same time as them you have to use GFWL as they run on the same system.

But well, I'd be glad too to see the DLC. If it takes time, it takes time, these kind of things happen, there's no need to turn out to be a demanding child.

Actually there was a link provided to purchase the DLC.  I spent points on it, but can't download it yet.

Did they at least provide you a download link?

Again you are assuming I am bothered about Xbox gamers getting it first, I am NOT bothered who the hell gets it first.  My entire complaint has been about the extreme difference in release times.  It is unacceptable that PC customers are sitting here nearly 8 hours after Xbox users still twiddling our thumbs and waiting for Bioware to be "bothered" to release the content to us.

I am seriously getting sick and tired of repeating myself.  If you find this situation "acceptable" then I find that amazing but then it does take "all sorts" these days.  I don't think PC gamers should have to put up with this shoddy customer service and I know for a fact Xbox gamers wouldn't have to put up with this.

You shouldn't really have a problem either way, though I personally always use a download manager for relatively large files.

Well, just finished my playthrough. Excellent for the most part, I'll avoid anything too spoilery. Length was good, took me about 2 1/2 hours on normal. A couple of upgrades to look out for some good dialogue with Liara, she wasn't an LI for me so I can't comment on how that side of things was handled. Definitely a post suicide mission though, unless some of the dialogue changes at the end some things would make little sense if played BSM (before suicide mission)

Proper Boss battles was a bit of a change up and the Shadow Broker's HQ is interesting, possibly set up for future missions either as download or for ME3.

Any disappointments? Well, I guess the lack of team talking, I purposely took Tali and Garrus with me and Tali was my new LI after cheating on Ashley so I was hoping to hear something but no luck, I guess the VO's weren't around!!

All in all? 9/10

Thats exactly what I addressed. The Xbox versions are distributed by Microsoft the PC version by BioWare/EA. Microsoft are always a few hours ahead of both the PC and the PS3 with the way they are set up. To have a simultaneous release BioWare would have to distribute both (Which Microsoft wouldn't allow) or Microsoft would have to distribute both. Other wise see my previous post about staff in at 2-3am.
