Thats exactly what I addressed. The Xbox versions are distributed by Microsoft the PC version by BioWare/EA. Microsoft are always a few hours ahead of both the PC and the PS3 with the way they are set up. To have a simultaneous release BioWare would have to distribute both (Which Microsoft wouldn't allow) or Microsoft would have to distribute both. Other wise see my previous post about staff in at 2-3am.

Seriously Delixe give it a rest now, even I am ****ing tired of repeating the same **** to you.  You don't seem to have any problem with the shoddy attitude Bioware is displaying towards PC customers and that is fair enough.  You obviously don't think Bioware can do any wrong so there is no point in carrying the debate on.

The message is pretty clear from Bioware if you are a PC gamer then don't expect a decent service you will get what they give you when they want to give you it and you will like it or lump it.

Apparently the file is incomplete, so you might as well STOP downloading.

I just don't see the beef when it's something that can't be helped. They said 10am Mountain time (always so tempted to type Mountie time B)) so that's when to expect it. Chris then posted they were having trouble but now some people are already downloading it just 1 hour late which isn't exactly some kind of scandal. I don't know where the idea was that it was being released at 00:00 as BioWare never said that it was just assumed. These days people should learn to assume nothing and await official confirmation or expect disappointment.

Spare a thought for those waiting to download Witch Hunt on the PS3 who have to wait till tomorrow because Sony update the PSN in Europe on a Wednesday no exceptions.

Seriously, Charlie, your attitude against Bioware because you have to wait a couple of hours longer is only one thing: childish. Boohooh.

In fact, if they decided not to release the DLC at all for the PC, I wouldn't be happy for sure, but it's their right to do with their property what they want. You cannot demand anything.

I appreciate the mod giving out the warning that the file being downloaded was incomplete and thus corrupt. Spared me 1 gig of monthly bandwidth there.

Thanks for sharing the message too, Bandit. :)

I sure want the DLC right now but seems to me that some people are overreacting, yes we will have the DLC a bit later than expected, its not the end of the world and it certainly doesnt mean that Bioware hates all pc gamers.

Damn, this forum sometimes looks too much like WoW's, so much whinning for such little things :(

I am a customer complaining about Bioware's pathetic customer service towards PC gamers.  Seriously guys stop sucking up to Bioware, you are CUSTOMERS you put food on their tables.  Now start acting like customers and not blind suckers that will simply accept everything.

Well, charlie has a point, it is NOT difficult to ensure PC users do not have to wait 8 hours when the content is clearly finished and released for xbox. If we just say "no problem thank you BW, you are the best", we are never gonna see improvement anyways.

I suggest you look at alternatives like Steam and Stardock for examples of bad customer service before having a go at BioWare.

So what do you suggest ? storm into their office-cmplex and demand satisfaction or some such nonsense ?
Your whining will not make the DLC appear any faster.

And no, I don't like it anymore than you do that we have to wait...

I tend to agree w/ Charlie on this one and I'm on PC.  I have a few games for Windows and they are nothing but headaches to deal with.  My Dad can't play Halo 2 on his new Windows 7 computer because its incompatible and there's no way to fix it.  Hell, the way Microsoft treats its gamers, it's a wonder they get the DLC at all.  They allocate achievements? WTF? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.  Changing discs in the middle of a game, 2 GB minimum on DLCs.   I'm starting to believe BW has a clause to give XBoxers the DLC first out of pity.

That said, where the %$#@ is my PC DLC?
