Video looks really cool... but now comes the hard part: Waiting till tuesday... where's that time machine when you really need it?...

I would build one, but it probably wouldn't be ready by Tuesday.

I could just program an AI that builds its own time machine in hours.

Oh wait... I haven't learned AI programming just yet.

And during the clip at 0:29 - 0:31 if you look closely, it looks like there's a small lighting flash outside. Which suggests a storm. If so, good. Mass Effect's rain looked great on Pragia.

Spoilers if you haven't seen the trailer

So I could just be making this up, but I think the woman (asari manwoman?) who says "Someone tried to kill your friend Commander Shepard" (I'm assuming this is the Spectre?) sounds a lot like the Asari councilwoman. Council member by day, badass Spectre by night. Dismissing claims across the galaxy! It may very well be the same voice actress (or not) and have nothing to do with the characters being linked, but I like the idea of council members getting their hands dirty.

And evil voice sounds like Jen Hale but this has already been said.

Midnight the day of.  PC users have to wait a little longer though, usually in the afternoon.

Also, the day the DLC is released it might take some time to download on XBL.  I remember Kasumi taking an eternity.

You know, in this trailer, Default Shepard seems to be a lot more customized than he usually is. He is wearing different armor mods along with a secondary color pattern different from the normal red. And he's a Vanguard with Assault Rifle training. Why is this, I wonder?

Ok, some people have been asking when the Lair of the Shadowbroker DLC "takes place" in Mass Effect 2. As in can you play it before the suicide mission or only after.

I went to the font of knowledge (the Mass Effect writers) and asked them. They said:

"Like many of our missions, you can do the Shadowbroker DLC before or after the suicide mission. However, because we understood that most players would be coming to this after the suicide mission, we weighted the dialog much more heavily toward the assumption that the player had already completed it."

So, you CAN do it before you do the suicide mission, but you'll get a different (and possibly more flavorful) reaction if you play it after.

Hope this makes sense. :)

I haven't heard the trailer, but I'm sure it may just be that they are using the same VA. for the Councilwoman/Spectre.

Does this mean that the dialogue choices or some other things change once we finish the suicide mission?  Or does it remain the same?

NOW THAT is the money shot right there :P  I think that is fantastic news, we will at last start to feel as if we are progressing away from the suicide mission and towards ME 3.

Aw, I liked Liara's old look. Eyebrowless, nude lip, less superblue eyes. :(

The trailer looked very neat.

That was great, honestly. I was excited to play this before, but now I'm dying to.

Bioware seems to have gone all out on this DLC. First, one of the most often asked questions regarding this DLC seems to have been answered definitively: Liara and Shep will (most likely) have dialogue specific to whether or not you romanced her in the first one. Secondly, Feron will appear (this is probably only important to those who read the comic). And third, apparently we get to try out a flying car mission, Jestons-style (but with guns, which is very un-Jetsons).

I'm ecstatic. Originally, I planned on downloading Lair of the Shadowbroker and Witch Hunt next week and playing Witch Hunt first (I'm a bit more of a DA fan than a ME fan...barely), but after seeing this video, I'll definitely be playing Lair of the SB first.
